GameStop Teases Fallout Monopoly Release Alongside ‘Fallout 4’ In November, Plus More Game-Inspired Titles
Days to the much-awaited Fallout 4 release, Bethesda yet again surprises millions of Fallout fans with the news that a Fallout-inspired monopoly game is releasing on the market.
Albeit this being the era of console gaming, board games continue to move in niche markets, and Monopoly is one of the few board games that never lose their charm. A new addition to the Monopoly family is Fallout Monopoly, a Fallout game-inspired Monopoly board game.
Spotted first by Shack News in an Instagram post by ogmejia13, the Fallout Monopoly was seen on display at the Game Stop Expo, Wednesday. Ogmejia13’s Instagram post contains the Fallout Monopoly on display with a sign reading: GameStop exclusive.

Board game company USAopoly, leading American producer of different board game titles, confirmed the reliability of ogmejia13’s Fallout Monopoly post, commenting on the post with “This November only at Gamestop.” USAopoly also posted on their own Instagram account a collage of upcoming Monopoly titles from the GameStop Expo like Halo Monopoly, Pokemon Monopoly, and Skyrim Monopoly, apart from the confirmed Fallout Monopoly.

This means that when Fallout 4 ships this November to millions of PCs, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One consoles, the Fallout Monopoly board game will also make its debut in the U.S. market via GameStop.
The official Fallout Twitter account also confirmed the Fallout Monopoly news with a tweet sporting the cover of the upcoming Fallout Monopoly game.

In 2013, we saw the sweetest gesture by a husband who spent eight months creating a Fallout-inspired Monopoly game for her Fallout fan wife as a birthday present. The currency of the fan-made Fallout Monopoly is, of course, bottle caps. The official collector’s edition Fallout Monopoly that will release at GameStop is also expected to use bottle caps as currency, contrary to the traditional Monopoly using papers corresponding to millions.

Apart from Fallout Monopoly, other game-inspired Monopoly titles are coming exclusively to GameStop like Pokemon Monopoly, Halo Monopoly, Skyrim Monopoly, and Zelda Monopoly, as announced by USAopoly.

Fallout 4, when it was announced by Bethesda, created a huge ruckus all over the internet. Just over 2 months before Fallout 4 officially releases for the public, a new collector’s edition Fallout Monopoly is created to everyone’s surprise. Fallout 4 will be available to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms on November 10, 2015.
