J.J. Watt ‘Heartbroken’ Over Jennifer Aniston Marriage

J.J. Watt has admitted that he was left completely heartbroken by the marriage of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux. However, those of you who are expecting the NFL star to now take part in an ambitious plan to win back her heart should know that he’s tongue was firmly in his cheek when he made the comments.

The Houston Texans defensive end made this admission during his interview with Fox, via CBS Sports, after the Texans defeated New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

After their 27-13 victory, Watt, who didn’t actually play in the game, admitted that he was “heartbroken” but that he was now trying to move on.

“She got married a couple weeks ago. So I’m heartbroken and I’m moving on, but I understand.”

J.J. Watt, who is currently single, has previously made his love for Jennifer Aniston, who starred as Rachel Green on Friends throughout the sitcom’s run between 1994 and 2004, very clear.

In fact, a couple of weeks ago, he uploaded an image of himself alongside Jennifer Aniston to Instagram, where he was beaming with a huge smile, with the caption, “I’m not even going to try to pretend like I acted cool when this happened #LifeMade.”

Back in July, J.J. Watt, via the New York Post, spoke glowingly about his time with Aniston, remarking, “It was incredible. She was very sweet. Her initials are J.J too so it was very cool.” Just to explain, Jennifer Aniston’s name is Jennifer Joanna, while J.J. Watt’s is Justin James.

He then continued, “I’m thankful for how cool she was. I was absolutely the farthest from cool you could be. I shook her hand instead of hugging her.” Watt then joked that he “left the room without proposing,” which he remarked meant that it was a “complete disaster.”

But his devotion to Jennifer Aniston goes back even further than that, as back in February 2014 he uploaded two Twitter posts that revealed his love and adulation for the actress.

In fact, some could even say that J.J. Watt’s love for Aniston was taken to whole new echelon.
