Kermit The Frog Denies Having A Relationship With Denise
The world was shocked when they found out that Kermit the frog and Miss Piggy had split up after four decades together. Then, everyone lost their minds when People Magazine announced that Kermit had moved on with another pig. This pig, who has a very modern style and wears auburn hair, is named Denise, and she’s the head of ABC marketing.
The two were said to be “very serious” together, but amid an enormous fan backlash on Twitter, Kermit is now denying that he’s in a relationship with Denise. Taking the obvious route, Kermit did some serious damage control by releasing a statement on his Twitter account.
“While I prefer to keep my personal life private, this is Hollywood, so who am I kidding? It is true that I am dating again. However, at ths time no one woman–pig or otherwise–is my official “new girlfriend.” We are simply close friends.”
Sheesh. I can’t believe I already have to do this again… Here is the official statement on my relationship status: pic.twitter.com/gRCyl3xbfz

Miss Piggy hasn’t responded to the news, and she hasn’t said anything about allegedly dating actor Liam Hemsworth either.
Loved @LiamHemsworth, our latest guest coming to #TheMuppets. Although, I had to explain that hunger is NEVER a game! pic.twitter.com/OJG4JHOaia

This was the last tweet from Miss Piggy:
Very much available, mon cher. Gimme a call! I’d love to boldly go where no pig has gone before. https://t.co/NB19FDgDJJ

So why did this breakup and rebound news hit the web in the first place? Well, people suspect that it’s to gear up for the new ABC documentary, which will showcase Miss Piggy and Kermit working together on her new late night television show. The other muppets will also be involved in the show as well. As the Inquisitr reported, everyone was up in arms over Kermit’s new girlfriend, Denise.
@GMA @KermitTheFrog Oh no @MissPiggy is not going to like this

I’m not sure what’s going on with the Muppets and Miss Piggy and Kermit & Denise, but it’s a little off-putting to me, even as satire.
