No Jail Time For ‘Real Housewives’ Kim Richards In Hotel Assault Case

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ former star Kim Richards has narrowly escaped jail time in her arrest back in April for public drunkenness and assaulting a police officer. The deal has been hammered out, but both parties need to agree before it is official.

As reported in the Inquisitr, Richards has recently left yet another rehab facility before she was supposed to, and is once again claiming she is sober and “cured.” The meeting today in reference to her arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel does not cover the punishment she will receive after her shoplifting case at Target is heard, so she still may face jail time.

According to TMZ, Richards was a no-show in court today when the deal was put forth by the prosecutors in the case. The deal is for 3 years probation, 52 AA classes, and 30 days community labor. Her attorney argued against the community labor, and asked instead for community service, as she claims Richards has a foot injury. Now, pending a doctor’s note, it seems a deal has been struck. Richards is also banned from the Beverly Hills Hotel indefinitely.

According to the Inquisitr, Kim Richards is still missing, and is facing charges from an arrest earlier this month when she tried to steal $600 worth of merchandise from a Target in Van Nuys, California. According to sources at both rehab centers she has attended this summer, Richards is non-compliant and when released, does not show up for out-patient care.

Today, Radar Online is reporting that Richards has been offered a new job in reality television, but sister Kyle is blocking her way. It is for a show called Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn, and Dina and Michael Lohan are already shooting.

“Kim wasn’t interested in the concept, or what she would be doing, but needed to earn a paycheck,” the source said. “She approached her kids about the proposal, and asked them to reach out to Kyle, because they aren’t talking.”

Kyle has put her foot down and will not participate, and the kids agree.

“The kids and Kyle all said no way,” the insider claimed. “It’s not because they don’t want to help Kim, but they felt she needed to go to rehab. If Kim had already successfully completed treatment, and was in a good place to begin truly working on relationships with the family, that would be a different story.”

It is obvious to all the Real Housewives, according to the Inquisitr, that Kim needs to get well, and stay far away from reality television.
