WWE Rumors: Top Star Could Make Long-Awaited Return To ‘RAW’ Tonight With New Look
WWE is planning a huge show for tonight’s Monday Night RAW, and it is all going to kick off with Sting opening up the event. From there, a number of other things are planned, but rumor has it that a top star could end up making his return, as well. Kane could finally return to WWE, and he may end up having a different look from when fans last saw him.
According to Cageside Seats, Kane is expected back on WWE television “anytime.” That does mean it’s possible that his return could end up happening tonight, and it’s not like there is anything standing in his way.
It was back in mid-July that WWE reported Kane had a “broken ankle,” which he suffered at the hands of Brock Lesnar. Now, that was all in storyline, because he was actually off filming the movie 6:42 for WWE Studios along with Dolph Ziggler.
Ziggler returned the week prior to SummerSlam and ended up with a match on the card against Rusev.
As for Kane? No one seems to know how he is going to fit into current storylines or where his allegiance will be. It is rumored that he could end up coming back under the mask yet again, and return as the “Big Red Machine.”
Yes, there is talk that Kane could shed the corporate suit and return back to the demonic ways of his old self, but not under the control of Stephanie McMahon this time. After Brock Lesnar injured Kane, Seth Rollins embarrassed him and kind of sent him on his way.
This may be Kane’s way of breaking away from The Authority and going out on his own, but it’s hard to know what he will end up doing. There are a number of options, but none really fit in too well.
Going after Lesnar makes sense because he injured Kane, but it looks like the Beast Incarnate may be taking a little time off for a couple of weeks.
Seth Rollins is already locked into a WWE Title match at Night of Champions against Sting, so he’s out. Also, he may end up in a match against John Cena for the U.S. Title, as well, so he’s definitely not on Kane’s dance card.
In an interesting note, WWE has just released a video about tag team reunions and the first focus is on Kane and The Undertaker as the Brothers of Destruction.
It could be a sign of things to come, or it could be nothing. Interesting that WWE would choose to post this video now, as the tag-team division is really beginning to grow and the return of the Dudley Boyz makes it even bigger.
Kane could very well return tonight on Monday Night RAW as the Big Red Machine, but what he will do is totally unknown. WWE is wanting to up ratings, and stacking the show is the best way to do just that.
