Is ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Star Kyle Richards Fighting With Sister Kim Richards’ Ex Over Her Troubled Sister?
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards has been recently making rounds in the news concerning her sister, Kim Richards, and her ongoing struggle with substance abuse. With Kim being involved in a number of embarrassing ordeals in the past year, her ex-husband has now decided to speak out on the matter.
Despite the ongoing feud between Kim and her ex-husband, Monty Brinson, during the last season of the reality series, Brinson claims he doesn’t hold anything against his former wife.
“Just to set the record straight. I have nothing but love for her and her family we’ve been family for over thirty years,” Brinson posted to his Instagram account.
“A very kind hearted person who loves her family and friends. Where all this stuff comes up I don’t know. Only wish the best for her and family. We’ve had a lot of laughs and good times through the years. And one last thing she is a great mother to her children.”
Brinson’s social media post comes after the idea surfaced that he was fighting with Kim’s family over her latest stint in rehab. According to Radar Online, the former star of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ family placed her on a 5150 hold until she gets the treatment she needs.
Despite the news that Kim is being held involuntarily, Brinson went on to state that, even though he is an ex-husband, he still considers himself close to the Richard’s family.
“Kyle would never do that she loves her sister. And would do anything for her. Kyle is very supportive as well as the rest of the family… I’m just the ex but I sill consider them family and my true friends.. I will stick up for each and everyone of them and if somebody has a problem with that then that’s there problem.”
The latest news concerning Kim’s rehab comes after the reality star was arrested back in April for her drunken outburst at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Although she has tried on several occasions to enter rehab in order to overcome her problems with substance abuse, she has yet to fully complete a program.
Meanwhile, Kyle is getting ready for her appearance on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which is currently filming for Season 6. While the new season is expected to air on Bravo late this year, Kim will be one member of the cast that will not be returning anytime soon.
