Kristen Taekman Getting Support From ‘RHONY’ Co-Stars, Josh Believes They Won’t Split

Several of Kristen Taekman’s The Real Housewives of New York City co-stars have let her know that they’re there for her. According to an E! News article posted on Wednesday, some of them have even offered her a place to go to if she wants to escape from the drama and spend some time away from Josh Taekman.

A source told the website that some of Kristen’s co-stars have reached out to her and that some of them have offered up their summer homes for her to stay at. Kristen has been a part of Real Housewives for two seasons now. Several of her co-stars, such as Heather Thomson, Bethenny Frankel, and Ramona Singer, have summer homes in the Berkshires and the Hamptons.

“Everyone from the cast is handling it differently. Some of the women have held off on calling her because they want to respect Kristen’s privacy. Others have reached out. They all have summer homes and a few of the women have let Kristen know that if she needs a place to get away or clear her head, she’s welcome to come and stay. Kristen has thanked them for their support.”

Yet it seems that Kristen won’t be leaving Josh, either temporarily or permanently. Another source added that Kristen and Josh, who recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary at a restaurant with a party for about 60 people, “honestly love each other.” The source said that Kristen likely won’t leave.

“She may hold this over his head for a while, but I believe she’ll stick with him. I just don’t see them separating…Kristen believes him. They’re shrugging it off.”

The source added that Josh is telling friends that the cheating scandal won’t break up the marriage.

“Josh is embarrassed but he’s telling friends that in terms of the marriage, it’s a non-issue. They are not going to split over this.”

On Monday, it was reported that Josh Taekman had an account on the marital cheating website Ashley Madison and spent thousands on it to send messages to others. He initially denied it, but a day later released a statement that admitted he had signed up for it. He did not admit to actually cheating on Kristen Taekman.

“I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family. We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives.”

On Tuesday, Kristen’s co-star Ramona Singer told Entertainment Tonight that she believes Josh didn’t cheat on Kristen and that he truly loves her. Ramona also said that Kristen has her support.

“I think Kristen will be OK. You know what, she really is a strong woman — she’ll be OK. She knows I only wish her the best.”

On part 2 of The Real Housewives of New York City reunion show that aired on Tuesday night, Ramona Singer recounted how she caught Mario Singer, to whom she had been married to for more than two decades, with his mistress at their summer Hamptons home. On her BravoTV blog post, posted after the episode aired, Kristen Taekman did not specifically comment on her own cheating drama, but in reference to what Ramona went through with Mario, did indicate that she has shed some tears over what Josh did.

“God, watching the recap of Ramona at the beginning of the season…it breaks my heart. I can’t even imagine how she was feeling. She was so sad, it made me tear up. No woman deserves to walk in on her husband cheating. That is just the absolute worst. I don’t think that Luann [de Lesseps] needed to inform Ramona about the dating sites. It was already over, why twist the knife any more?”
