‘Big Brother 17’ Spoilers: Target Switch As Next ‘BB17’ Eviction Approaches?
Big Brother 17 spoilers from Wednesday night (August 26) suggest a target switch. These Big Brother 17 spoilers could be big news, because it might also indicate that an alliance shift is also coming. The BB17 house might just be in for a very interesting eviction ceremony if Vanessa Rousso has her way. A report from fan site Joker’s Updates relays information about a conversation taking place between Vanessa and Meg Maley. In it, the two women talk about shifting their votes during the “live” Thursday night episode (August 27).
During the chat, Vanessa has been working hard on Meg to convince her that John McGuire needs to stay in the house. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the target had been John since Austin Matelson became the Week 9 Head of Household. Though he contemplated going after Vanessa (very briefly) and then about getting Steve out later (very briefly as well), Austin, Liz Nolan, and Julia Nolan settled on evicting John. The thought was that the trio could work with Steve or simply vote him out at the Week 10 eviction ceremony.
As these latest Big Brother 17 spoilers point out, Vanessa and Meg are chatting about voting Steve Moses out this week. It would certainly be a shocking move if the pair could then get James Huling to vote against Steve as well. With one HOH and two nominees, that leaves only five votes to decide the fate of the two nominated BB17 houseguests this week. It means that Vanessa, Meg, and James could completely shift the way the house is playing this week. Could they make a huge game move like that on their own?
It’s possible that Meg and James don’t realize that this is the move they really need to make to last longer in the BB17 house. If they can upset the balance of power by getting Vanessa Rousso to work with them for a week, it would likely drive that final wedge between her and Austin Matelson to cause them to stop working together. Though Vanessa can’t be trusted for long, that wedge would prolong the lives of everyone else trying to escape going to jury in Week 10.
Now it’s certainly possible that Meg Maley decides that she can’t trust Vanessa, and that this impromptu alliance never fully forms. That they are deep into discussions and agree that Steve Moses needs to go home soon could indicate that these Big Brother 17 spoilers definitely lead to something interesting. There are less than 24 hours before the Week 9 eviction, though, so the BB17 house has to decide between Steve and John McGuire very soon.
