Lady Gaga Revealed In ‘American Horror Story’, See New Images And Character Details
For the first time we’re getting a full look at Lady Gaga in the upcoming season of American Horror Story: Hotel.
Entertainment Weekly has debuted images of Lady Gaga in her first television role on American Horror Story. The images show Gaga with bleached blonde eyebrows, biting down on a clawed nail. Her hand is decorated in a black shiny glove.

Ryan Murphy reminisced about how he and Gaga became collaborators on the upcoming season, which is currently being shot. “I was at a construction site and my phone rang. I didn’t recognize the number. [I answer and] I hear ‘Please hold for Gaga.’ I think ‘Bad Romance’ was playing [while I was on hold]. Then she got on the phone. At first I thought it was a prank, but we then had a lovely call.”

While the role might be a departure for Gaga, it looks like American Horror Story has captured her theatrical aesthetic for the show.
In an exclusive interview with EW, Gaga noted that she had changed to a softer look in recent years, which certainly counters the lavish outfits she used to wear. Returning to her theatrical look was a dream for Gaga.

Of her time on set, Lady Gaga said, “I’ve just been weeping while I’m here because I have returned to something I’ve believed in so much, which is the art of darkness. It’s not something that everyone understands, but, for the people that do — Horror Story fans, my fans — there is a true connection between us, and it’s a language within itself.”
In fact, her favorite season of American Horror Story is last year’s Freak Show season. That said, Hotel will have its own theme, as does every season of American Horror Story.
According to EW, “Built in 1930 by the rich and charming but deeply psychotic James March (Evan Peters), the beautiful art-deco hotel is, in actuality, a labyrinthine structure built to hide March’s murderous activities (think dead ends, secret rooms, endless shafts).”
“In present day, though, the Cortez is acquired by Gaga’s Countess, a glamorous socialite who attends art openings and fashion shows and maintains her looks not from a steady diet of kale but from imbibing human blood.”
In addition to Lady Gaga, the current cast includes Matt Bomer, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Wes Bentley, and Denis O’Hare.
It seems like Gaga is getting along just fine with her cast mates so far. As the Inquisitr reported, the singer threw an American Horror Story themed party for the cast. She even had Kathy Bates praising her after her first day on the set.
American Horror Story will premiere on FX on October 7, just in time for Halloween.
