Meanwhile, as Pattinson gets ready to receive his Deauville award, he is also preparing for his upcoming wedding with fiancee FKA Twigs. With that in mind, are Twigs and Pattinson contemplating having children once they are married?
According to People , Pattinson does want to have kids, though he has yet to lock down the timing.
“Definitely, although I still don’t know when,” Pattinson stated when asked about having children. “Sure I will have a child who is totally cool and confident. He or she will probably look at me every day and think, ‘Why is this guy such a funny, quirky oddball?”
The talk of having children with Twigs comes after Pattinson’s recent role in the Anton Corbin directed film, Life . The Twilight alum plays a professional photographer in the movie who is tasked with taking images of James Dean for the prestigious magazine.
“I was so attracted by the role in Life ,” Robert Pattinson stated. “At my age, you don’t get so many chances to play a father – and certainly not one who leaves his family in the lurch. Personally I imagine it different, of course.”
As far as Twigs in concerned, the British singer also expressed her desire to have children at some point in her life. Although she acknowledged that she is very open to the possibility of having children, she also admitted that it would be a scary prospect for her to consider.
“Women are amazing creatures,” Twigs recently explained. “We can give birth. We have a womb. We can create life!… I honestly didn’t give a s— about any of this stuff until about two years ago. I don’t know whether it’s my age – I’m going to be 28 in January – but all of a sudden I started thinking that if I had a daughter, it is gonna be terrifying.”
Robert Pattinson is currently in Belfast to film The Lost City of Z with Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam.
