Anna Duggar’s Brother, Daniel Keller, Is Trying To Get Her To Leave ‘Pig’ Josh Duggar
Anna Duggar’s brother is weighing in on the Josh Duggar cheating scandal, and he’s also letting fans of the family know how Anna is reacting to pressure to leave her unfaithful husband.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jessa Duggar recently shared a Facebook post all about forgiveness, and it definitely appeared to be a response to the news that Josh cheated on his wife of seven years, Anna Duggar, by setting up an Ashley Madison account and having an affair. Jessa was seemingly trying to say that that her older brother has confessed his “sins,” so all has been forgiven. However, Anna Duggar’s older brother, Daniel Keller, doesn’t think that Josh is deserving of forgiveness just yet.
“You have to confess and forsake your sin to have mercy. Not sin confess and repeat,” Daniel wrote in response to Jessa Duggar’s Facebook post.
In a second post, Keller pointed out that Josh only confessed to cheating on Anna because he was forced to — Gawker found his Ashley Madison account information in the massive data dump that hackers recently leaked online.
“Confessing and getting caught are two different things. You want to know what happens when you cover ur sin maybe you should go read ur bible instead of beating people over the head with it.”
Keller went on to write that he feels horrible for his sister, and he called a few people bad names when they tried to defend Josh by quoting Bible verses.
“I have been thinking of her and sick to my stomach for her for last few days,” Daniel Keller revealed. He also let Jessa Duggar’s Facebook followers know that he’s actively trying to get Anna Duggar to leave Josh. He doesn’t think that Josh will learn his lesson until he faces a real repercussion for his actions.
Unfortunately, Keller reports that his parents are against Anna getting a divorce, and they’re trying to convince their daughter to stay with Josh.
“But my parents are preaching stay w him,” he wrote. “There [sic] more interested in how there daughter getting a divorce will make then look then they are in trying to truly get josh some help and getting Anna and the kids out of there till he has gotten that help.”
Keller also revealed that Anna Duggar has already told him that she’s not leaving her new home in Arkansas with Josh. Anna’s parents desperately want their daughter to stay married to the oldest Duggar, but Anna’s brother is seemingly mortified that the former 19 Kids and Counting star is a member of their family.
“I told her I would go get her and let her and her children stay w me. She said she’s staying where she’s at. But I won’t stop trying to get that pig out of our family.”
Many of the fans on Jessa Duggar’s page commended Daniel Keller for standing up for his sister and refusing to give up on her.
“Thank You, Daniel Keller,” Tracy Walker Boesch wrote. “Finally the voice of reason!!! At least Anna has one person in her family who is capable of seeing this for what it really is. Please continue trying to get through to her, for her and her children’s sake.”
According to Faith Goes Pop, Daniel Keller is the oldest of Anna Duggar’s siblings. He and his wife, a beautician named Candace, are estranged from the rest of the Kellers. Faith Goes Pop speculates that this might be because they adopted a child — the Duggars and Anna’s parents follow the teachings of Bill Gothard, a religious leader who is against adoption because he believes that the “sins of the parents” can be passed on to their children. However, Daniel Keller and his wife aren’t Gothard followers, and they reportedly practice “a more liberal form of Christianity.”
Even though Daniel hasn’t been able to convince Anna Duggar to leave Josh, there’s one small sign that she’s not certain that she wants to stand by her man. When Josh confessed to molesting four of his sisters and another girl, Anna released a statement on the Duggar Family Official Facebook page letting fans know that she was aware of Josh’s past and that she believed that he was truly a changed man. She described him as “a man who knows how to be a gentleman and treat a girl right.” Her statement was released alongside those of Josh and his parents.
In response to the recent cheating scandal, Jim Bob, Michelle, and “biggest hypocrite ever” Josh released statements on the Duggar Family website. However, this time Anna Duggar decided not to say a word about her husband.
Do you think Anna Duggar should divorce Josh?
