‘Big Brother 17’ Spoilers: Zingbot Arrives For Veto Competition In ‘BB17’ House
Big Brother 17 spoilers from Saturday night (August 22) now include the arrival of Zingbot. The BB17 house played out the Week 9 Veto competition, with nearly every participant needing to win the necklace. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, new Head of Household Austin Matelson has turned against what he said last week and now has no plans to target Vanessa Rousso. This raised the stakes for nominees John McGuire and Steve Moses to either save themselves in the Veto or risk getting sent home at the next eviction ceremony.
A report from fan site Joker’s Updates states that Vanessa Rousso ended up winning the Veto competition. It was an extensive challenge, going late into the hours of Saturday evening (Sunday morning on the East coast). As soon as the competition was over and the live feeds had been turned back on, Vanessa could be seen stating that she would not be using the Veto this week. It certainly puts John and Steve in a tough position, because now it guarantees one of them is going to the jury on Thursday night (August 27).
This is exactly what Austin Matelson needed to have happen, as he can now keep the nominations the same, plus he doesn’t have to worry about using the “backdoor” option on Vanessa. He now has an easy route to the next eviction ceremony, with future Big Brother 17 spoilers unlikely to shift what has been taking place. Meg Maley worries that Vanessa will use the Veto to save Steve, thus forcing Austin to nominate Meg or James Huling. While that’s still possible, it is not what Vanessa is currently planning to do. Something big would have to change in the BB17 house to alter the nominations now.
The house could be pretty boring for live feed viewers on Sunday (August 23), unless the power alliance (Austin, Vanessa, Liz Nolan, and Julia Nolan) decide to change who the primate target for eviction has become. Heading into the Veto competition, the plan was to vote out John McGuire this week. Due to some behavior that Steve Moses has been exhibiting, it’s possible that the alliance might shift its target. That hasn’t happened yet, though, so the next person heading to the jury is going to be John.
Someone from the jury is still going to return to the house on Thursday, so the potential is there for either John or Steve to get right back in the game. Other options are Shelli Poole, Jackie Ibarra, or Becky Burgess coming back into the BB17 house. These latest Big Brother 17 spoilers might frustrate fans hoping something exciting would happen in the house this weekend, but CBS producers will likely still find a way to make it look intriguing for the Sunday and Wednesday (August 26) episode.
