Jordan Spieth, Girlfriend Annie Verret Surprised By Miss Texas’ Proposition At Rangers Game

Jordan Spieth and girlfriend Annie Verret were enjoying a Texas Rangers game Wednesday when the number one golfer in the world was asked out on a date by the reigning Miss Texas during a live television broadcast.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jordan Spieth and girlfriend Annie Verret have been wowing fans with their mature and healthy relationship. The high school sweethearts both seem to have a very good head on their shoulders and protect their privacy.

Apparently, Miss Texas didn’t have a clue that Spieth and Verret are a thing and have been for quite some time. Or maybe she did.

Shannon Sanderford, the reigning Miss Texas, threw out the first pitch at Wednesday’s game between the Texas Rangers and the Seattle Mariners and then gave an interview in the stadium on live TV.

During the interview, Sanderford was asked what her talent will be for the upcoming Miss America Pageant, Sanderford said she would be singing.

Rangers sideline reporter Jim Knox said it was a nice enough skill but not exactly what kids are into these days, and he offered Miss Texas a suggestion.

“You know, rap is kind of big right now. This could put you over the top. Can you put something out for us?”

Miss Texas seemed to think that was a good idea, so she offered up her rap for all to hear, including Jordan Spieth and Annie Verret.

“Yo Ranger fans, Miss Texas in the house.
C’mon, y’all. Let me hear a shoutout.
I threw the first pitch, got it over home plate.
Hey, Jordan Spieth. You wanna call me for a date?”

Well, it takes some courage to ask out Jordan Spieth with his girlfriend sitting right beside him, but not sure home wrecker is a great quality to have if you’re trying to position yourself as the next Miss America.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jordan Spieth’s girlfriend, Annie Verret, practically stole the show from her handsome fella after he won the U.S. Open Championship in April when she congratulated her longtime boyfriend with a sweet kiss on national television.

With a tender embrace, the couple entered the hearts of die-hard golfing aficionados, as well as the general public, and people can’t seem to get enough of Jordan Spieth and girlfriend Annie Verret.

Think Miss Texas needs to back off.
