Rapper T.I. Reportedly Owes Over $4.7 Million In Unpaid Taxes
Rapper T.I. reportedly owes more than $4.7 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS.
According to Daily Mail, the Internal Revenue Service filed two separate tax liens against Clifford “T.I.” Harris on August 10.
The report states that the lien was the result of unpaid taxes from 2012 and 2013. The Ant-Man actor reportedly owes over $3.17 million from 2013 and over $1.39 million from 2012.

An official representative for T.I. apparently issued a statement to Us Weekly about the news.
“Mr. Harris and his team are working with the appropriate parties to resolve this matter.”
The 34-year-old husband and father-of-six has been able to generate a lot of money over the years from his successful business ventures in addition to his music career.
Us Weekly reports that he and his wife have developed several clothing companies — including Hustle Gang and Akoo.
The “Ball” rapper has also released nine studio albums, in addition to a vast list of hit singles and featured spots on other hit songs. T.I. reportedly owns numerous properties — including Vibe Restaurant and Lounge as well as a popular nightclub in Atlanta, Club Crucial.
In recent years, T.I.’s big-screen acting career in Hollywood has really started to take off as well. He’s been featured in five different movies over the past few years — including Identity Thief, Get Hard, and Ant-Man.

In a July interview with Movie Web, T.I. had the chance to talk about how long he has waited to star in a Marvel movie and why the Ant-Man experience was so special to him.
“When you actually involve yourself in the world of acting, one of the things you always want to do is…experience the huge budget, big set, peek behind the curtain of how these things actually take place. When it finally presents itself as an opportunity, you’re kind of skeptical… You just expect everyone to be on edge. This was nothing like that. It was the complete opposite. The set felt like an independent boutique kind of thing. There was a camaraderie and an instant getting-along with everyone. Everyone had the utmost respect for each other, and it made it easier to embellish and experiment with the script.”
T.I. is also on-board for at least two new films scheduled for release in 2016 — Sleepless Night starring Jamie Foxx and Michelle Monaghan, as well as Ride Along 2 with Kevin Hart and Ice Cube.
