Twitter Backs ‘RHONY’ Star Carole Radziwill In Feud With ‘Hypocrite,’ ‘Toddler’ Countess LuAnn
The Real Housewives of New York really put on a show in the first part of the Season 7 reunion special. In particular, the drama between Carole Radziwill and LuAnn de Lesseps was one of focal points as the two reality stars were unable to resolve their differences.
In fact, in an interview with Bravo, Radziwill discussed her dramatic confrontation with de Lesseps during the latest episode of the RHONY.
“It is difficult to have an intelligent conversation with her, because she has no ability to self-reflect, and much of what I said seemed to go over her head,” Radziwill stated in regards to her co-star. “She appears to me to be a hypocrite. A person who claims to have beliefs about what is right and what is wrong but behaves in a way that contradicts those beliefs. In case anyone still doesn’t get that, let me say it this way—she judges other people badly for the very things that she does; whether it’s dating a younger man or dating her friend’s ex or reprimanding people’s manners.”
Carole Radziwill went on to call into question de Lesseps ability to reason like an adult.
“At a certain point it’s like trying to reason with a toddler,” the reality star explained in the interview. “The audience will come to their own conclusions about who is right and who is wrong or someplace in between. It’s not for me to convince anyone. Maybe they will side with Luann, maybe they will think we are both nuts.”
Speaking of fans, many took to Twitter following the airing of the reunion special to voice their own opinions about the feud between the two reality stars. That being said, most seemed to express their approval of Radziwill.
“I’m a grown woman & I can do whatever I want…really Lu? But @CaroleRadziwill can’t?” one user wrote. Radziwill then responded by saying, “I can’t keep saying it.”
Radziwill also agreed with another person, who posted, “Tell me @CaroleRadziwill did @countessluann really just try to say a one night stand is classier than a committed relationship?”
At the same time, some fans brought up the issue with Radziwill’s co-star Bethenny Frankel, with some asking the reality star if she ever found herself caught in the middle.
“I do not feel in the middle. @CaroleRadziwill & @CountessLuann are grown women & I have a relationship w all the women,” Frankel posted in response.
