Jennifer Aniston On Meetings With Ex Vince, Keeping Her Wedding Secret, And Being ‘Deliriously’ Happy [Video]

Jennifer Aniston has finally stepped out on the scene since her big day, during which she married her love, Justin Theroux. The beaming Friends star made her first appearance at a premiere for her latest film She’s Funny That Way, during which the 46-year-old looked as radiant and as beautiful as ever while flashing her gorgeous new ring.

Following this occasion — which fans have anticipated, if only for a chance to catch sight of Aniston’s new band — the star carried on to dinner at Tower Bar at Sunset Tower in Los Angeles, during which she bumped into her ex Vince Vaughn. Us Weekly makes note of the occasion and reports words from a source who witnessed the meeting and interaction between the two, who dated for a year back in 2006 after working together on set of The Break-Up.

“They were both jovial and seemed happy to see each other, both smiling. It didn’t seem weird at all, it just looked like two old friends who hadn’t seen each other for a while catching up real quick.”

The stars have always maintained an affection for one another, and Us recalls words that Aniston shared with Vogue about Vaughn shortly after their split.

“I call Vince my defibrillator. He literally brought me back to life. My first gasp of air was a big laugh! It was great. I love him. He’s a bull in a china shop. He was lovely and fun and perfect for the time we had together. And I needed that. And it sort of ran its course.”

Similarly, Vince had kind words for Jen earlier this year when he was questioned about his relationship with the Cake star by Playboy. Vince spoke honestly.

“You know, she’s great. For me personally — and I think most well-known actors who are together feel this way — I never enjoyed the paparazzi side of it. You like someone and you’re spending time with them; that’s separate and that was all fine. But I really spent most of that time finding ways not to be drawn into the attention.”

As much media attention as Jennifer Aniston and now-husband Justin Theroux attract, the two did an exceptional job at keeping details about their wedding a secret. Jen has finally broken her silence about how happy she is that she was able to do this. Aniston explains that she is not just happy about finally being married to Theroux, but “deliriously happy.”
