Mick Jagger will be hosting “Saturday Night Live” for the 37th season finale next week. The Rolling Stones’ singer will also be the musical act, but Jagger won’t be performing with Keith Richards and the rest of the Stones. Instead, he’s enlisted the help of Arcade Fire and The Foo Fighters.
Arcade Fire confirmed the gig in a Tweet, saying:
“We’re extremely excited to be joining Mick Jagger on SNL next Sat, May 19!”
While the Foo Fighters were a little more coy, writing:
“What’re you guys doing next Saturday Night? #SNL”
So what will the Supergroup play? The set list hasn’t been announced but The Gothamist expects to hear some classic Rolling Stones hits. What do you think Jagger will play next Saturday night?
Jagger has frequented the stage at SNL a few times over the last few decades but this will be the first time that the rock legend serves as host. But don’t worry, Jagger has already proven his comedic chops.
Do you think Mick Jagger will make a good SNL host?
