Rosie O’Donnell Worried After Daughter Chelsea Found In NJ With Heroin Addict

Now that Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter Chelsea has been found, details are trickling out about the situation that the family is dealing with. According to sources close to the situation, O’Donnell is very worried about Chelsea upon her return home.

According to People Magazine, O’Donnell’s daughter was found safe after missing for a week, which should be a relief to Rosie, but sources say that Chelsea was found with an alleged heroin addict.

The source decided to explain the situation to People, “Chelsea left the house a week ago. Rosie thought she was with friends and that was not the case. She just didn’t come home. She was missing for a week. People were looking for her locally. As soon as it became national news, the police were able to find her.”

As of right now we don’t know the connection Chelsea has to the heroin addict, but it’s said that the person isn’t her boyfriend. Chelsea, who Rosie described as “very mentally ill,” met the man online. The source continued, “She is underage. This guy was 27, and he had a daughter in New Jersey.”

“Rosie is very concerned about the guy she was found with. Rosie is extremely concerned about everything and is trying to figure out what to do next.”

When the police arrived to the home, they asked the alleged heroin addict if Chelsea was there. The man said she wasn’t there, but cops persisted and found O’Donnell’s daughter inside the home. It’s not known how she got from her home in Nyack, New York, to New Jersey.

At first it was believed that Chelsea might have went off to find her birth mother. That said, sources close to the situation said, “Chelsea did reach out to her birth mother months ago, but this did not have anything to do with that.”

When Chelsea first went missing, Rosie used her official site to put out an Amber Alert on her daughter, who had gone off her medication. At the time she didn’t disclose what kind of mental illness she had, probably out of privacy for her daughter.

“Rosie O’Donnell’s 17 year old daughter, Chelsea O’Donnell was reported missing. Nyack, New York police authorities have been looking for her in the Rockland County area since Sunday, August 16. She was last seen Tuesday, August 11. She was wearing a black sweatshirt hoodie, dark ripped blue jeans, women’s grey converse sneakers and a black backpack. Chelsea has a large tattoo on her right side of a dream catcher with the word ‘Breathe.’ She left home with her 6 month old therapy dog named Bear. The dog is a 9 lbs brown and black terrier. Chelsea stopped taking her medicine and is in need of medical attention.”
