Robert Pattinson Not Reuniting With Kristen Stewart, Hoping For Long Engagement With FKA Twigs?
Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs may be igniting breakup rumors after a source revealed that the couple is pushing back their wedding, but does that mean Pattinson is second-guessing his upcoming nuptials to the British songstress?
The answer is no, according to rumor-busting site Gossip Cop, who points out several flaws in a newly-released report about the British couple.
According to the latest tabloid rumors surrounding Pattinson and Twigs, Rob is getting “cold feet” about the idea of walking down the aisle with Twigs in the upcoming months.
An alleged source close to the Twilight actor reveals, “Rob told pals that he misses the wild life he had with Kristen [Stewart]. Twigs is her polar opposite, which is part of the reason Rob loves her, but he can’t help but miss all of the spur-of-the-moment things he used to do with Kristen.”
The source continues, “Settling down scares [Pattinson] a bit. He says he’s still in love with Twigs, but he’s just not in love with the idea of marriage anymore. He’s hoping for a very long engagement.”
Despite the claims, Gossip Cop reports that they have reached out to a source close to Twigs and Pattinson, who note that the The Rover actor is still “very much” in love with FKA Twigs, and that his former relationship with Stewart has “no bearing” on his upcoming marriage to the singer.
The source further explains that any rumors of Pattinson having “second thoughts” about marrying FKA Twigs because he misses his “wild life” with Stewart is “total nonsense.”
The latest round of rumors surrounding the engaged couple comes just days after a source close to the duo reveals they have pushed back their wedding due to an evolving guest list.
A source close to Pattinson and Twigs reveals to People that their wedding has been pushed back “until autumn at the earliest,” because Twigs “can’t decide what [kind of] wedding she’d like to have.”
“She talks about it keeping as real and low-key and then wants an elaborate glamorous Baroque affair,” the source explains. “She was even talking at one stage about having a masked ball.”
The source notes that while Twigs and Pattinson are anticipating a larger crowd for their wedding, there is no official date set for the happy couple.
“It will now be bigger but how big, nobody’s quite sure at this moment in time. There’s no fixed [wedding] date, but will probably be late in the year,” the source concludes.
