Terrence Howard & Mira Pak Divorce: ‘Empire’ Actor Ends Marriage, ‘Secret’ Divorce Revealed In Court
Terrence Howard and Mira Pak have split.
According to the New York Daily News, Empire actor Terrence Howard and his third wife decided to end their marriage earlier this year, but chose to do so privately. The news came out during a recent court appearance involving Howard and his second wife, Michelle Ghent, who had their closing arguments in a heated exchange on Monday, when the judge referred to Pak as Howard’s “ex-wife.”
It has since been confirmed that the two previously split. Court documents reveal that Howard and Pak ended their relationship several months ago.
“Pak, 38, filed for the secret split back in March, when she was pregnant with the couple’s first child. She cited irreconcilable differences in her Chicago petition and claimed she and Howard, 46, separated in August, 2014.”
Terrence Howard and Mira Pak got married in October, 2013. The couple welcomed their first child together, a son, back in May. Many are surprised to hear that the two have split, especially because Pak was in court next to Howard just last week.
As for Howard’s court battle with Ghent, she has accused her ex of domestic violence and infidelity, and has filed a lawsuit against him. According to People Magazine, the court drama between the two has been super intense.
“A slew of revelations about Howard and his ex flooded out of a contentious Los Angeles hearing on Monday that the actor, 46, repeatedly called an ‘ambush.’ At Howard’s many outbursts, Judge Thomas T. Lewis warned Howard that he needed to ‘learn some restraint’ and ‘cool your jets,’ as well as suggesting the Empire star stop making ‘extemporaneous statements.’ “
It sounds like Terrence Howard and Mira Pak may have split because of Howard’s apparent feelings for Ghent, which, apparently, never really went away. All kinds of information about their seemingly toxic relationship has now surfaced.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there were times Howard told Ghent that he was contemplating suicide, and this was revealed in text messages that he sent to her. There were also reports that he was still telling Ghent that he was in love with her, even after he married Pak.
“Many communications showed Howard’s attempts to rekindle his relationship with Ghent, and the actor himself admitted once telling Ghent that he would leave his third ex-wife… if Ghent would take him back,” reported People Magazine.
It does sound like both Howard and Ghent were abusive to each other (emotionally or physically), but there also seems to be a lot of unresolved emotion between them still, as both have broken down in court.
