Bella Thorne took a major fashion risk by wearing an extremely short strapless dress to the Teen Choice Awards. However, the Scream star’s biggest worry wasn’t the bottom of her dress — it was the top.
According to Hollywood Life , Bella Thorne’s orange and yellow mini-dress was a very appropriate choice for summer. However, it appears as though the strapless garment’s branch-like design made it a bit too heavy. While Bella was posing for a photo with boyfriend Gregg Sulkin, the dress looked like it was in serious danger of sliding down.
Luckily, Bella managed to avoid suffering a nip slip on the Teen Choice Awards red carpet. The actress recently told E! News that she always tries to make sure that she doesn’t reveal more skin than she means to, but Bella Thorne admits that she has still suffered embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions in the past.
“The biggest thing is you have to take flash photos of your outfit before you step out wearing it,” Bella said. “It happens to people all the time, where the outfit doesn’t look see-through and then a flash goes off, and you can see panties, nipples and everything else. It’s all out there.”
Thorne revealed that she’s had her own bad experience with camera flashes, but the 17-year-old was lucky — she was wearing something underneath her sheer top.
“On the carpet there was one time I was wearing green shorts, a white shirt and a cute black bra underneath with a green jacket. I wanted the bra to be cute and just-noticeable, but the camera flashed and it was the only thing you saw I was like, ‘oh no, this looks terrible!’”
This actually wasn’t Bella Thorne’s worst wardrobe malfunction or her most embarrassing story involving a bra. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bella admitted that she once stuffed her bra for a movie role, and she was mortified when her padding fell out in front of everyone. Luckily, she doesn’t feel the need to give her bust a boost these days. According to the former Shake It Up star, she “finally” started to develop breasts when she turned 17.
Unfortunately for poor Bella, she doesn’t just have to worry about her wardrobe when she’s working on movies — her skin can also cause problems. The redhead recently told the Wrap that things got a little too real while she was trying to mimic the symptoms of a panic attack for her movie Big Sky .
“I get stress hives, and I got them all over my face and on my chest,” Thorne said. “Doing those panic attacks, once you start to experience it and act it out, you really start to feel it. Once you hyperventilate so much you make yourself light headed, so then your vision starts to go a bit blurry, and your whole body starts to give out on you.”
At least Bella Thorne doesn’t panic like that every time she takes a fashion risk like the one above.
