iPhone 6s Launch Date Rumors: Brand New iPhone Coming September 9 Along With Apple TV
Getting bored of your old iPhone 6? Keen to upgrade your phone? Well, your wait might not last too much longer, because there is a good chance that the launch of the successors to the current generation iPhone models is just round the corner. That’s the right, the new iPhone model — most likely to be called the iPhone 6s — is rumored to debut on September 9, 2015, a Forbes report says. In fact, the Inquisitr did report about that development just yesterday. What was not revealed then was the possibility of another key Apple product launch that could see the light of the day on September 9. Yes, we’re talking about Apple TV. There are also rumors of a possible iPad product update this year too, the Indian Express reports.
Coming back to the iPhone, it is pertinent to note here that this September 9 launch date still remains a rumor. Until now, there has not been a confirmation (or denial) about this news from Apple. Usually, Apple issues invites to tech bloggers and media houses before a product launch event, which is usually taken as a cue for an imminent product launch. No such invites have come forth as of now.
Another thing is the fact that the month of September has seen a new iPhone model — every year — since 2011. For example, the iPhone 5 was announced in September 2012, the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c came in September, 2013, and the current iPhone models – the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus came in September, 2014 — which means there is good chance that it could happen this year as well.
We have been hearing a lot about the new iPhone models — most likely to be called the iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus — of late. In the past, there have been leaked renders of the phone doing the rounds of the internet. In fact, an earlier report here on the Inquisitr talked about leaked internal components of what is believed to be from the new iPhone 6s. Back then, there were claims that the phone could be christened the iPhone 7 — instead of iPhone 6s. As of now, though, everyone seems to have agreed upon the iPhone 6s name.
As reported earlier, the new iPhone models for 2015 are rumored to receive significant upgrades in the form of faster LTE speeds, addition of Force Touch, and a better camera.
Are you planning to get the new iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus whenever it launches later this year?
