Why Halle Berry Still Looks Amazing At 49

Halle Berry cannot be 49. If she was, how could she still look so fit, sleek, and slim? Halle Berry has managed to freeze the aging process, and put jealousy in the hearts of middle-aged women everywhere.

Halle Berry has always looked like this. Why would she change now? Maybe she’ll always look this good. She’s got the formula for youth, so take note. Her appearance at a recent banquet for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association shocked all who got a glance at her sleek bod.

But this is the woman who played Storm in the X-Men movies. Of course, someone else is taking that role in 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse, but nonetheless Halle Berry played the woman who controls the weather on screen in the same way that Berry controls her eating habits off screen.

Halle Berry’s figure is credited to a diet free of sugar and low in carbohydrates. Examiner.com recounts an interview Berry did with Woman’s Day about the specifics of her diet.

“Because I’m diabetic, I totally changed my diet and workout regimen a few years ago. I don’t eat fried foods or refined sugar — only natural sugar in fruit and vegetables. And I don’t eat carbs a lot.”

It’s hard to believe she gave birth to her second child a little over a year ago. While everyone was busy ogling her body, Berry had trouble reading from the teleprompter at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association event. She blamed it on her age. Funny how age forgot about her form but didn’t forget about her eyes.

Halle Berry shared another weight loss tip a while back, after she had her son, Maceo, with husband Olivier Martinez, who she married in 2013. She’s also got a daughter, Nahla, who she had with an earlier partner. She told Extra a weight loss tip all mothers with babies can benefit from.

“Every mother should breastfeed. It’s the quickest way to shed the initial weight and then you have to eat right.”

Despite Berry saying she was happy enough in her marriage to Martinez, that didn’t stop the flurry of divorce rumors after she was spotted at the Acapulco International Film Festival earlier this year without her engagement ring.

When Berry isn’t indulging in her diet or forgetting her glasses, ring, and such, she’s starring in the Steven Spielberg-produced science fiction TV series Extant. And in that show Halle Berry is also a mother, like in real life, but not to human children.
