Illegal Immigrant Charged With Murdering Three And Unborn Baby In Violent Florida Homicide
An illegal immigrant wanted for assault and robbery in Belize was charged Tuesday with homicide for the gruesome murder of his aunt, her pregnant daughter, her boyfriend and unborn baby in what police are describing as a horrific scene.
Brian Omar Hyde, a 19-year-old Bolivian who illegally crossed the Texas-Mexico border is accused of slaying his cousin and roommate 17-year-old Starlette Pitts along with her unborn child and her mother Dorla Pitts, 37.
Starlette’s boyfriend, 19-year-old Michael Kelly Jr. was also murdered, but miraculously their 18-month-old toddler was left unharmed.
It was an ‘extremely violent scene, even for us. All homicide scenes are normally violent, but this scene was what we considered unimaginable.’
Officers said the victims died from blunt force trauma, although the murder weapon hasn’t been found and police have yet to determine a motive. There was evidence the victims tried to defend themselves from their attacker.

Hyde was found covered in blood driving on the wrong side of the road the same day. He was charged with three counts of second degree murder and one count of killing an unborn child.
The Bolivian native crossed the border into the U.S. illegally seven months ago and found a home with his relatives, the Pitts.
He is wanted in Belize in connection to a cell phone robbery and was scheduled to undergo trial for assaulting a police officer. He was also a suspect in a double murder case, but received a lesser charge of handling stolen goods.
He is also awaiting trial in the U.S. for crossing the border illegally.
Bolivian newspapers say Hyde comes from a criminal family and his uncle is considered a suspect in the decapitation and dismemberment of two Belize men in May.
Hyde is in Lee County jail where he will wait, without bail, for a Sept. 15 arraignment.
If he’s found guilty he could face life in a Florida prison, but if he’s found innocent he’ll face deportation to Belize where he faces at least six months in prison for assaulting a police officer.
This could happen to anybody, so be careful who you bring into your house. It could be your own family member.
This case bears a remarkable similarity to the fatal shooting of Kathryn Steinle by a five time deportee as she walked along the San Francisco waterfront.
Donald Trump seized on the incident as proof the U.S. needs a wall along its southern border with Mexico.
Between 2010 and 2014 at least 121 people were killed by illegal aliens with a criminal past.
