Reese Witherspoon TBT Pic Shows High School Days As Reese And Sofia Vergara Talk ‘Hot Pursuit’ Sequel [Video]
Reese Witherspoon shared a TBT photo that fans are still flipping over. Reese showed off her style as a cheerleader in middle school on Instagram, and Witherspoon showed her charisma, reported People.

Witherspoon served as cheerleader for Nashville’s Harding Academy Generals. And for those who wondered whether Reese’s Southern accent is genuine, that Tennessee background shows it’s real, y’all.
After beginning her career as a model at age 7, Witherspoon was only 11 when she headed to the the Tennessee State Talent Fair and took the prize. But despite that blossoming career, Reese got such high grades that she was accepted to Stanford University.
After studying English literature at Stanford, Witherspoon kicked her career higher than a cheerleader with the hit, Legally Blonde.
Most recently, Reese joined Sophia Vergara for Hot Pursuit. The actresses had a terrific time teaming up for the buddy film, they told Entertainment Weekly.
“I met her at a hotel. She came in the door, and every man in the lobby literally turned their heads. I’ve never seen anything like it,” revealed Reese. “I think it’s great that Sofia has this sense of humor about herself. She doesn’t take herself so seriously. I take myself very seriously, Sofia. I’m a very serious actress.”
Vergara teased Witherspoon about that comment, noting that after Reese was nominated for an Oscar for Wild, their goofy antics might have put her reputation as a serious actress at risk.
“I was joking with Reese, ‘They’re going to take that nomination away from you after they see you in this movie,'” revealed Sofia.
But Witherspoon praised Sofia’s talents as a comedienne.
“Everything Sofia said was funny. That’s why they decided to put the bloopers in. She has this thing where she starts speaking really fast, and the words become funny. She had to say The Wall Street Journal a lot. It’s hard to say!” said Reese.
And both actresses hope that they can team up for a sequel.
“It’d be super-fun if we got to make a sequel,” said Sofia. “Maybe we could do it in Colombia.”
Reese liked the idea.
“It’d be Extremely Hot Pursuit,” joked Witherspoon.
As for a sequel to Legally Blonde, Reese recently hinted that it’s a possibility, as the Inquisitr reported.
Visiting Watch What Happens Live to talk about her movie Hot Pursuit, Reese segued to the topic of whether Elle Woods, the blonde bombshell who became a lawyer in the movie, might have a future in yet another film.
“Somebody pitched me an idea the other day,” said Reese. “Somebody thought it would be really funny if Elle went to jail.”
Legally Blonde 2 was a success, but it’s been many years since Reese portrayed Elle.
