‘The Bachelorette’ Star Nick Viall Reveals He ‘Would Seriously Consider’ Being The Next ‘Bachelor’
Despite all the rejections and heartaches Nick Viall has suffered during his time on The Bachelorette, the reality dating star believes he is ready to be the next Bachelor. In an interview with the Huffington Post, Viall revealed that he is ready to take on the lead role and give the reality show a third chance.
“To be perfectly honest, I would seriously consider it. It’s obviously an incredible opportunity,” Viall explained in the interview. “I feel fortunate to be in a position in my life where I know who I am, and I’m very comfortable in my own skin, and I know what I’m looking for.”
Although Viall is ready to move on and potentially take on the role as the next Bachelor, he also expressed his worries that another appearance on a reality show would “pigeonhole” him.
“For me, I would be in a different boat,” he explained. “All of the sudden, for the third time I’m going on a show to find love.”
However, it appears as though many fans would not approve of two-time Bachelorette loser Viall as the next lead man on The Bachelor. In fact, many fans have taken to Twitter to express their own disapproval of Viall as the new Bachelor.
“@BachelorABC – oh PLEASE do NOT have Nick Viall as the new Bachelor. I definitely will not be watching that. Dislike him very much,” one user wrote.
“Third time’s the charm?! Might be the case if Nick Viall is the next bachelor,” one user posted.
“I don’t think I could watch!” another person stated.
The reaction on social media continued, with some desiring a man with a little more going on in the looks department
“No! Nick Viall can’t be the next Bachelor. Like please give us some eye candy!!” one person chimed in.
Some even declared that they would not watch the show if Viall was chosen as the next Bachelor.
“I will NOT be watching the next bachelor if its Nick Viall. Screw that. I’ll catch up on some other shows instead. #theBens!” wrote one Twitter user.
While Viall seems fairly confident that he might be chosen as the next leading man on the hit reality dating show, there are a number of other candidates up for the spot. In fact, Us Weekly recently stated that Ben Higgins is already set to be the next Bachelor.
Despite all the rumors, ABC has yet to make an official announcement about which former star of The Bachelorette will be the next Bachelor.
