Season 7 of the Real Housewives of New York has certainly been one of the reality show’s most emotional season to date. With the three-part reunion special getting ready to kick off next week, the drama promises to reach new heights.
“Oh god, that reunion. We got there at 6 o’clock in the morning and didn’t leave until 8:30 at night, so you can imagine what went on,” Ramona Singer revealed to E! Online .
Although Singer was a little elusive about the details, a recently released promo trailer sheds a little more light into what fans can expect to see. In addition to Singer actually falling asleep during the interview with Andy Cohen, the trailer, released by Bravo, focused in on Sonja Morgan, who has had her fair share of issues with her fellow housewives this season.
In particular, Carole Radziwill shared her disapproval with Morgan, who had made some comments about her late husband’s late cousin John F. Kennedy Jr. earlier in a road trip on the Real Housewives or New York .
“I get that you were drunk and it’s kind of a funny thing to say, maybe. But it’s not funny to me… [and] that you never even said anything to me about it after,” she told Morgan. “No one who knew him called him John John first of all, and for you to say that you partied with John John is not okay, because he didn’t party.”
While Morgan defended herself by saying “You, talking about John John, who was my friend — seriously, I just have to be me,” Heather Thomson sided with Radziwill.
“This is her family we are talking about,” she remarked to Morgan. “It’s like if I talked about your daughter.
At the same time, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps is heard saying, “I am glad you are concerned about family, Carole.”
As many will remember, Radziwill is dating the ex-boyfriend of her niece, and the drama between her and de Lesseps didn’t stop there.
“I think she [de Lesseps] felt very defensive. There was a lot going on that she had to account for. You know how reunions are. [Cohen] holds your feet to the fire and he wants answers,” Radziwill stated. “She was as defensive as I’ve ever seen her. At one point she got up and lunged at me. She got up and Andy told her to sit down.”
Despite all the drama shown in the video, Dorinda Medley promised there would be some settlements taking place.
“There’s a lot of drama and hopefully a lot of resolution,” she stated.
