Dakota Johnson May Be Trapped In A Real Life ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Love Triangle

Dakota Johnson has been the center of attention following her role as Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey, so it’s not surprising that Dakota’s love life is of great public interest. In fact, it was big news when it was revealed that Ms. Johnson was reuniting with former boyfriend Matthew Hitt, just as Fifty Shades of Grey was released in theaters. Some speculated that Johnson and Hitt had never separated and that their relationship was downplayed, as fans and media speculation linked Dakota with Fifty Shades of Grey co-star Jamie Dornan.

Just as the Dakota Johnson/Jamie Dornan rumors seemed to be grinding to a halt, new events may be stirring up those same rumors, suggesting there may be truth to that previous speculation. Yibada reports that Dakota has been spending time apart from Hitt and that, once again, the couple are experiencing troubles just as Fifty Shades Darker reunites Ms. Johnson with Dornan.

Previously, Dornan had been asked if there had been more between Dakota and himself than merely co-starring together, considering the intense chemistry of their love scenes.

“I was smitten from the start, I really was,” Jamie said of his wife. “I’m more in love with her today than I was at the start, so no.”

The new rumors beginning to circulate seem to be contradicting Dornan’s testimonial to his wife. Even as Ms. Johnson is reportedly choosing to spend her free time alone or with girlfriends, as opposed to bonding with Matthew, the on-screen passion between Dakota and Jamie are to blame for Fifty Shades Darker filming delays.

“The film was supposed to start shooting in the new year so that it would be ready for a February 2017 release,” reported the Stir. “But new reports say Dornan felt compelled to stop filming because his wife, Amelia Warner, was upset and disturbed by scenes from the new movie that require her husband become extremely close to Johnson’s character, Anastasia Steele.”

It seems unlikely that Ms. Warner would be so “disturbed” by her husband’s work, who is an actress herself and aware of the kinds of demands acting can sometimes place on a relationship. It may be that Amelia knows something more about the relationship between Dornan and Johnson than that which has been revealed to the public.

In any case, with Dakota back together with her Fifty Shades of Grey co-star in two upcoming sequels, where does that leave Matthew Hitt?
