Luann de Lesseps Regrets Behavior: ‘I’m Sorry’ She Says While Changing Story
Luann de Lesseps may have survived one of the most dramatic season finales in the Real Housewives of New York‘s history, but she was the one who was shocking viewers. It is no secret that de Lesseps has held a grudge against Carole Radziwill ever since Carole started dating her personal chef, the young Adam.
Even though Luann de Lesseps may not have been planning to slam Carole during the finale party, it sounds like de Lesseps had some hurtful comments up her sleeve. One of the comments that really didn’t sit well with viewers was Luann’s joke about Carole not having any children of her own. Radziwill lost her husband to cancer and never remarried.
According to a new Bravo report, Luann de Lesseps is now sharing her side of the story. And while Luann does say that she is sorry for her comment, she doesn’t exactly appear apologetic.
“I wish that seeing Adam with Carole didn’t make me slightly queasy, but it did at that moment. I’m totally over this now, and I don’t care who Carole dates. I’m sorry that the line about children came out of my mouth; I wasn’t trying to be hurtful to Carole,” Luann de Lesseps writes in her blog.
The interesting thing here is how de Lesseps is changing her story. First, Luann wasn’t happy with Carole dating Adam because he was her personal chef. She felt it was breaking girl code. When that didn’t phase Carole, it became all about how Adam and her niece had dated. Radziwill explained that he had been very single when they met. Then, Luann de Lesseps added that “you don’t date the help” in her world. Now, the story is changing yet again. This time, Luann is upset at how Carole is being as a girlfriend. Where did this accusation come from?
“I have more of an issue with Carole’s behavior as a girlfriend. Her actions and her inability to be truthful have put a strain on our relationship, and I’m unsure of where it’s going in the future. This season has brought me much closer to Ramona, Sonja, and Bethenny, and I’m grateful to all the ladies for sharing their lives with me and with you,” Luann de Lesseps ends her blog.
According to the Inquisitr, Radziwill explained her thoughts on Twitter as the finale aired. She had no problem calling out Luann de Lesseps for her hypocritical behavior, as she herself has been sleeping with married men — and even younger men. These accusations are brought up again at the reunion show, according to Hollywood Life.
