Kaitlyn Bristowe And Shawn Booth Talk House Hunting, Wedding Plans And ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Will viewers see Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth on TV again? On Tuesday, the newly engaged The Bachelorette couple did an interview with Canadian TV morning show CTV Morning Live. During the interview, Kaitlyn and Shawn, currently in Kaitlyn’s hometown of Vancouver, talked about their future plans, including possibly televising their wedding, where they plan on living and Kaitlyn possibly doing Dancing with the Stars.

It’s only been about two weeks since Kaitlyn and Shawn’s engagement was shown on season 11 of The Bachelorette. For those hoping to see a wedding very soon, they will unfortunately have to wait a while. Kaitlyn said that they don’t have any wedding plans for now.
“No, we don’t. Well we basically just started dating like five months ago…so we’re just kind of taking it really slow. Like we are just dating and then we’re gonna be happy just being engaged and plan the wedding, I mean not too far but not too soon.”
In regards to a having a televised wedding, Shawn said they may have two weddings: one for viewers and one for just close friends and family.
“We haven’t ruled out a televised wedding yet but what we definitely want to do is something small and closer with our friends, without cameras. So maybe do two separate weddings. We’re not sure. Lots of stuff we kind of have to figure out.”
When asked what they anticipate their relationship will be like now that The Bachelorette has ended, Kaitlyn Bristowe confidently predicted that it’ll just get better.
“I think it’s just going to get better and better. It has already. I think everyone wondered, ‘Oh what’s going to happen when it’s not glitz and glam, the cameras?’ And we’re like, ‘No we actually really look forward to that.’ And it’s gotten better.”
Shawn Booth added that they’re happy now to have a normal life together.
“Yeah, trying to be a normal couple, have fun. I’m taking her to Nashville, Tennessee next month, where I live, so spend some time there, just do normal couple things.”
So do they plan on living in Vancouver or Nashville? Kaitlyn said that having dual homes is their ideal.
“Both would be ideal. Maybe spend time in Nashville and have a little summer home in BC [British Columbia]. I feel like I’m always house hunting. My girl friend’s in real estate and actually he [Shawn] is too but we always look.”
Wherever it is that they’ll be living, Kaitlyn wants babies within the next five years. “All I can say is babies and family. In five years I hope to have babies,” she replied when asked about where they see themselves in five years.
As for the rumors that Shawn Booth will be cheering for Kaitlyn Bristowe on the next season of Dancing with the Stars, Kaitlyn said that they’re just that, rumors.
“I wish I knew more but to me they’re still rumors. No, just rumors.”
The most recent The Bachelor star, Chris Soules, went on season 20 of Dancing with the Stars days after his season finale, showing his engagement to now ex-fiancee Whitney Bischoff, aired. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Whitney, who competed with Kaitlyn for Chris, congratulated Shawn and Kaitlyn on their engagement right after the finale aired.
