Next Season’s Villain Revealed And Much More For ‘Pretty Little Liars’
Fans of Pretty Little Liars didn’t have to wait long to find out who the next villain will be.
For now, all viewers know is that “he” is after the girls from Rosewood.
What’s also known about Pretty Little Liars’ next episodes (airing in 2016) is that the show is jumping five years into the future — as witnessed briefly at the end of this season’s finale and in a promo following the final episode this year you can watch below.
What’s also known about the upcoming episodes is that some issue — perhaps related to whoever “he” is — will reunite the girls, Pretty Little Liars creator Marlene King said.
“We knew where they were going to go to school, we knew where they were going to be in their personal lives but as we bring them back to Rosewood. There’s an event that happens that brings them all back together. It’s just kind of fun exploring who they are they and they’re having fun exploring their characters too.”
At the end of the final 2015 episode, viewers see Alison (Sasha Pieterse) is now a teacher. She’s also married — the future Mrs. Rollins — when we see the remainder of the pretty little liars join the scene. That’s when our potential new villain is revealed by only his gender.

Viewers also found out that Ezra (Ian Harding) and Aria (Lucy Hale) are no longer together thanks to Hale’s recent interview with AOL BUILD.
“They say goodbye to each other, they go and live their separate lives. He develops a relationship with a woman, and I’m with someone else.”
While many questions — including the identities of “A,” Black Widow, and Red Coat — were answered in the finale of Pretty Little Liars, viewers still weren’t satisfied. Fans took to Twitter to display their displeasure about how the show settled six years’ worth of mysteries.

Even more fans added their name to an online petition started by a disgruntled fan over the villainous reveal. The aim of the petition is to have producers refilm the finale with an alternate ending, and more than 1,200 supporters had joined within six hours of its launch.
While everyone cannot agree about how the show ended, one very important question was not answered in the season finale. What happened to the moms on Pretty Little Liars, and are they going to stay locked in the basement for the next five years?
