Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Make Post-Engagement Appearance

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel stepped out at the MET Gala last night in New York, making their first public appearance together after Timberlake’s grandmother confirmed that the singer/actor proposed to Biel.

They’re rarely ever publicly seen as a red carpet duo, but the pair were all smiles seen arm and arm as a very happy couple last night, with Biel, 30, also publicly debuting the engagement ring Timberlake, 31, gave to her in the winter.

Jessica Biel showed off her tall figure in a plunging white Prada dress, sparkling in green stones. “Prada picked it out for me,” the Total Recall actress told reporters on the red carpet. Prada also designed Biel’s shoes, and her matching green clutch. Timberlake who also looked very dapper wore a Tom Ford tux and a white evening shirt and topped his look off with “Chelsea” leather boots.

However the best fashion accessory was Biel’s engagement ring, which cost Timberlake a whopping $130,000, which he also designed himself. In fact, Justin was so adamant about the whole thing being a surprise that Timberlake didn’t even tell his fiance’s stylist that he was proposing.

Obviously in the mood for a celebration, while on the red carpet the singer told the reporters, “We’re gonna go find champagne.” As for the wedding to be, sources recently told Us Weekly “It will be a big wedding. They have lots of people they want to invite.” Not to stress Biel out, Timberlake’s mother Lynn Harless will be helping Jessica plan “every little thing,” said the source.
