Did Yolanda Foster Get Erika Jayne The Job On ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?’

Did a connection through the music business help Erika Jayne get the gig on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? The short answer is yes. Bravo likes to add new cast members who have some connection to the existing cast, and seem to prefer those who are entertainment industry adjacent.

But Erika Jayne is more than just a FOF (Friend of Fosters). Jayne is a 40-something singer from Atlanta with a 76-year-old lawyer husband, Thomas V. Girardi. Erika Jayne will be replacing Kim Richards and/or Brandi Glanville as a regular cast mate. According to the Inquisitr, Brandi Glanville was too difficult to be a regular, and many of the Real Housewives didn’t want to shoot with her, and Kim’s legal status and lack of sobriety (she is facing jail time) was too unstable to let her continue.

Viewers will be introduced on Season 6 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a friend of the Fosters, and has shot her first scene with Yolanda Foster.

“She’s coming into the show as a friend to Yolanda and David [Foster] and has already filmed her segment for the start of the show,” In Touch’s source dished about Erika’s entrance on RHOBH. “Longtime Real Housewife Yolanda is suffering from a number of health issues, and it’s unknown how much time she’ll be able to devote to the sixth season of the show. And with both Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards off the show, there will be plenty of room for Erika to make her own mark.”

According to the Inquisitr, Erika will be a full time cast mate, and after the introduction by Yolanda Foster, Foster will be on part time due to health concerns. Jayne and the rest of the cast will not be joined, even part time, by Kim Richards, as she is considered a liability.

“No one here asked Kim Richards to come back on the show. That is false. Producers were done with Kim during her last relapse when she flat-out lied to them by telling them that she had not relapsed when she actually had … No one wants to work with someone like that. You cannot bite the hand that feeds you and that is exactly what she did. She lied to everyone and no one buys a thing she says anymore.”

The leggy blonde has a number of dance song hits, and is a mainstay as a performer at gay nightclubs.
