Erika Jayne has reportedly joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the series’ upcoming sixth season, and according to an Us Weekly report on August 8, she’s already begun filming with her co-stars, including Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson and Kyle Richards.
The magazine claimed Erika Jayne is known for her dance and club hits, including 2007’s “Rollercoaster,” a single that reached No. 1 on the Billboard chart, “Stars” and “Give You Everything.” Also, Erika Jayne and her husband, lawyer Thomas V. Girardi, are said to be close friends with Yolanda and David Foster, who have appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since season three.
Erika Jayne’s friend, Foster, was added to the Bravo reality cast as a full-time housewife years ago, but expected to return for season six only in a guest-starring role because of her ongoing struggles with Lyme disease.
According to a second report, via SheKnows , Erika Jayne is from Atlanta, Georgia, and her 76-year-old husband is a founding partner of Girardi and Kees. The report claimed Girardi tried “the 1996 case against Pacific Gas and Electric that inspired the Julia Roberts film Erin Brockovich.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Erika Jayne will not be joined on the show by Kim Richards, who was a full-time housewife on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since season one. Despite her claims, as reported by Radar Online , she was not asked to return to the series after suffering multiple relapses and two arrests in recent months.
“No one here asked Kim Richards to come back on the show. That is false. Producers were done with Kim during her last relapse when she flat-out lied to them by telling them that she had not relapsed when she actually had… No one wants to work with someone like that. You cannot bite the hand that feeds you and that is exactly what she did. She lied to everyone and no one buys a thing she says anymore.”
Richards was arrested in April and charged with public intoxication, resisting an officer, trespassing and battery on an officer. Months later, she was arrested a second time and accused of shoplifting at a local Target store in Van Nuys. She is due in court later this month to address charges.
Erika Jayne and the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are expected to return to Bravo for season six this winter.
