Wendy Williams’ fall during her Houston tour stop was caught on camera, and the video has gone viral. The talk show host and comedian is never one to mince words, and it seems that was the case after her fall on stage as well. In fact, apparently she figured she may as well embrace the incident and even encouraged the audience to go ahead and share it.
As E! Online shares, Wendy Willliams’ fall took place Saturday night during her “Sit Down Tour…Too Real For Stand Up” show at the Hobby Center in Houston, Texas. The slip happened as Williams was walking across the stage and she seemingly didn’t realize quite where the stage ended. By the looks of the video, this was no minor slip, though luckily Wendy was ultimately fine.
Williams’ fall happened after she walked a few steps up toward the edge of the stage and she fell off the front. After the comedian disappeared into the audience, a crew member rushed to help her. She was able to get back up on stage quickly, and carried on with the show with hardly a moment of interruption.
Luckily, Williams was able to joke about her fall both during the show and later on Twitter. During the show, she joked that fans should shut up and that the fall never happened, but that they should go ahead and put it on YouTube. It didn’t take long for the video to be posted all over social media.
As the show continued, Williams noted that every stage is different and this is her seventh show of the tour. She may have taken a scary fall, but she points out that her 51-year-old self recovered quite nicely. Later, Wendy tweeted a quip about the fall and the tour as well.
Forgot it’s the “Sit Down Tour” not the fall down tour. #wendywilliamstour #ouch http://t.co/MdsWnoiTSY

Wendy Williams’ fall in Houston was hopefully a one-time event, though the comedian does still have a handful of tour dates remaining. Additional shows are slated to take place in South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland, Kentucky, Ohio and Illinois later in the month. A new season of Williams’ talk show is slated to begin on September 14.
The talk show host and comedian is known for being quite vocal when it comes to her thoughts on what others do and say, but this past weekend it was clear that she can take it pretty well too. Fans are glad that Wendy Williams’ fall didn’t cause any real injuries and that she was able to laugh it off pretty well.
