‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Spoilers Week 2: Who Arrives, Who Gets Eliminated, Who Has A Guy Back Home?
Bachelor in Paradise returns for a second week of drama with back-to-back episodes on Sunday, August 9, and Monday, August 10. Three new guys will arrive in Paradise this week and four contestants will leave, including one girl who leaves to pursue a rather interesting relationship back home.
The guys will be asking girls out on dates this week, and the girls will be in charge of handing out roses at the Week 2 rose ceremony. The drama, tears, and romance will play out over two nights — expect to see the dates on Night 1 (Sunday) and eliminations on Night 2 (Monday).

Last week, Jillian Anderson was the first contestant eliminated from the show, when JJ Lane decided to give his rose to Tenley Molzahn instead. Although JJ kissed Tenley and saved her from elimination, he tells Reality TV World that he didn’t come on Bachelor in Paradise for love — the single dad from Denver simply wanted clear his name from the terrible “Brokeback Bachelor” edit he got during Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of the Bachelorette. Don’t expect JJ to last long on the show — spoilers indicate that he will soon leave the show to pursue a woman he met off the show.
Week 2 starts out with seven guys (Kirk, Dan, Mikey, Jonathan, JJ, Tanner and Jared) and eight girls (Carly, Tenley, Juelia, Clare, Jade, Lauren, Ashley I. and Ashley S.) To add to the drama, three new guys will show up in Paradise — Michael Garofola (Des’ season), Joe Bailey (Kaitlyn’s season) and Joshua Albers (Kaitlyn).
By the end of the two-night drama-fest, there will be several contestants who have coupled-off, and others who are scrambling to make a connection so they will get a rose. Jade and Tanner are this season’s Marcus and Lacy, so don’t expect to see them date anyone else. Carly and Kirk made a connection on Week 1, and Ashley I. will continue to pursue Jared, but his interest in Clare will kick off another week of Ashley’s ugly crying.

According to Reality Steve, the contestants who go on dates this week include Joshua and Tenley, Joe and Juelia, Michael and Tenley, and Jared and Clare. Although Tenley gets two dates this week, she has only one rose to give out at the Week 2 rose ceremony.
Three guys will be eliminated this week, and one girl will leave to pursue a guy back home. If spoilers are correct, Tenley will choose to keep Joshua, and Michael will go home. Also leaving this week are Mikey Tenerelli, who gets more than a little jealous over Clare’s date with Jared, and Jonathan Holloway, who wasn’t asked out on a date and didn’t get a rose this week. Fans can expect to see Mikey return on a future episode, so don’t count the “beef heart” out yet.
Ashley Iaconetti’s sister, Lauren, will also exit the show this week, but Ashley will stay because she’s not done crying over Jared just yet. In the video clip below, Lauren admits to Dan Cox and Tanner Tolbert that she interested in pursuing a guy back home. She then admits that she’s a mistress. Perhaps a reality show is in the Iaconetti sisters’ future — they certainly know how to bring a ridiculous amount of craziness to Paradise.
