Kylie Jenner’s Birthday Reunites Kris And Caitlyn For First Photo Together
Kylie Jenner’s birthday party on August 7 in Los Angeles brought her parents, Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, together in public for the first time since Caitlyn’s transition.

Kylie turns 18 on August 10, and the Kardashian youngest sibling is celebrating all weekend in the run-up to her birthday. The birthday dinner on August 7 gathered all the Kardashian and Jenner siblings for a big family celebration to start things off the Kardashian way. Khloe tweeted her excitement as the party got underway.
“The festivities are just beginning,” she posted, along with a photo of Kylie and a gorgeous white cake. “My baby girl is going to be 18!! I’m legit going to cry.”

Older sister Kendall Jenner, and half-sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian, along with parents Kris, 59, and Caitlyn, 65, were all there to wish Kylie a happy birthday, and “it wasn’t long before the selfies were in full flow.”

The “memorable” photo of Kylie’s big sis Kim with Kris and Caitlyn at her side just about “broke the internet” with its caption, “The parent trap.” Hollywood Life described Caitlyn only as wearing “sexy neutral makeup” with her hair in “loose waves” but said that Kris “looked fierce with her shades still on.”

Kim, who has been “one of Caitlyn’s biggest supporters through her transition,” posted a photo of the two of them with the caption, “The Great Cait.”

Caitlyn and Kris finalized their divorce in December 2014 after 23 years of marriage, and a few months later, Caitlyn announced her transition. Since then, the two have only gotten together privately at Caitlyn’s home to talk “out their issues” as they worked on “mending their tense relationship.”
In July, a source close to the Kardashian clan told Hollywood Life that being good parents to Kylie was a priority for Kris and Caitlyn.
“Kris expressed that she and Cait both need to make a huge presence in Kylie’s life before she turns 18. Kris sort of blamed Caitlyn for being too wrapped up in her own life.”
Judging from Kylie’s Instagram post, it looks like her parents are making some headway. Kris and Caitlyn even took a moment for a hug as the party came to an end.
