Kate Middleton: Makeup-less And Gracious In Mustique, Planning Baby No. 3 And Next Babymoon?
When royals Kate Middleton and Prince William are looking for a peaceful and private getaway to relax and unwind, away from the media circus they are often faced with, the duo’s top choice is the Caribbean island of Mustique. Kate and Will have visited the private locale on numerous occasions, including back in 2008 when the pair began dating, as well as on family getaways and for much-needed babymoons.
The two take part in a host of enjoyable activities while on the island. People Magazine relays the royal couple’s choice of activities for entertainment while on holiday, noting that “when [Will and Kate] are not lounging by the pool, the royal couple’s choice of activities include scuba and snorkeling, tennis, horseback riding and a Tuesday night cocktail party at the Cotton House Hotel.”
It has been reported that the Duchess recently achieved her scuba training certificate, so we can only assume that a return to Mustique in order to put her training to the test is on Will and Kate’s schedule.
Frequenters to the lovely resort, at which the royal pair usually enjoy their time in a private and quiet villa overlooking a private beach, shared details about a chance meeting with Will and Kate when they too were vacationing there back in 2008. Martin Katz, a notable jewelry designer from Beverly Hills, and wife Kelly were eager to share with People in regards to this unforgettable meeting with the royal couple.
“I was standing at the [hotel] bar ordering one of the fancy drinks and Kate actually came up to the bar and was quite pleasant and chatty. She couldn’t be more friendly and more open. Kate looked very casual, she wasn’t particularly wearing makeup, she looked lovely. She just couldn’t be more gracious and talked to everybody who would talk to her. It wasn’t like she was working the room, but if someone wanted to speak to her, she was happy to speak. They were lovely and they couldn’t be more present. I think what struck me was that they were human like everybody else, dressing to fit in like everybody else.”
The jeweler, known for being the designer behind Kim Kardashian’s wedding earrings, continued to relay a comical moment when he accidentally dropped his glass of fruit drink to the ground, which happened to spray Prince William’s feet while in flip flops. William’s laid back response to the incident involved uttering, “That was quite refreshing. Thank you.” Kate and Will are clearly equally as gracious.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge vacationed there most recently back in February, along with members of their immediate families and while Kate was pregnant with Princess Charlotte. Speculations are brewing that Will and Kate are already planning not only another trip to Mustique, but also baby No. 3.
An insider recently revealed that the couple is planning to have at least three little ones and expanded on reasoning for this statement. Express notes the source’s words.
“Kate is one of three and is very close to her sister Pippa and brother James. Although the Cambridges already have a boy and a girl they haven’t definitely decided to stop there. They both benefited from growing up with siblings who were close in age. Of course Charlotte is still only a baby but in a year’s time, who knows?”
