Carrie Underwood recently posted a no makeup selfie to Instagram, and the photo is attracting a lot of attention because the 32-year-old country star shows that she is still gorgeous even with her bare look. As People magazine reported, Underwood posted the no makeup pic of herself on Friday and in the photo, Carrie is getting licked on the face by her husband Mike Fisher’s dog, Penny, after a workout session.
Carrie Underwood captioned the Instagram pic with the following text.
“Cloudy but no rain = perfect day to run outside!” Underwood wrote. “1mi treadmill warm up, tabata arms and abs, finish up with a 3 mile run/lunge up the hills. I’m a sweaty mess, but fortunately I have sweet Penny to help get me cleaned up! Ew. #StayThePath #CALIAbyCarrie #NoMakeup #NoFilter #BeNice.”
The no makeup selfie received thousands of likes and positive comments in just a few hours after it was posted.

According to E! Online , this isn’t the first time the new mom has shared a no makeup selfie with her followers. A photo posted to Instagram last month also showed the singer’s makeup-free look while she posed with her husband after a workout. Judging by the amount of times Underwood has shared photos of herself after just finishing up a workout routine, it is evident that she is working hard to lose weight after giving birth to her son Isaiah in February.
It seems that Carrie Underwood is back in good spirits after enduring a frightening experience in early July. The American Idol winner tweeted that she had to break into her own car after her dogs inadvertently locked themselves inside – along with her belongings and her baby boy.
“When your dogs manage to lock themselves, all your stuff & the baby in the car & you have to break a window to get in,” she wrote. ” #WhatAreTheChances.”

Later that day, she posted a tweet to further explain the incident and clarified that it was actually her brother-in-law that came to the rescue.
“I should clarify. My bro-in-law was actually the window breaker in the ‘dogs-locked-the-car-door’ incident today! But all is good now!” “Minus the broken window, of course!,” Underwood added.
