Justin Bieber Turns Photographer After Running Into Chantel Jeffries At Photo Shoot
Justin Bieber was seen larking about on a beach with rumored ex-flame Chantel Jeffries at her swimwear photo shoot yesterday.
The superstar acted as impromptu photographer in Laguna Beach, California, on Friday, while model Chantel, 21, twirled around in a revealing swimsuit. She later posted footage to her Snapchat account.
If her name is familiar, it’s because Chantel was a passenger when Justin was pulled over in Miami Beach on suspicion of DUI last January. Justin subsequently took a plea deal last August, which included a 12-hour anger management course and fines.
He also paid $50,000 to a local children’s non-profit organization.
Chantel later claimed she never dated the singer, and the pair even appeared to fall out last summer. But, before anyone gets carried away with reunion chatter, it seems she and Justin only hung out together on Friday after running into each other unexpectedly.
The Biebs has been a frequent guest at the Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach over recent weeks and is said to have come across the swimsuit-clad Jeffries while strolling along the beach.
In fact, Chantel was modelling in a campaign for San Lorenzo Bikinis, with photographer Derren Versoza filming the beach photo shoot.
In one Snapchat video, it is apparent that Versoza let Bieber get behind the camera. The singer is seen snapping shots of Chantel’s curvy form, before Derren asks for this camera back so he could continue working. The photog later quipped on Instagram alongside a pic of the trip, writing, “Give me my camera back. @justinbieber @chanteljeffries.”
Over at San Lorenzo Bikinis, the company got in on the online action and shared a photo on Instagram.
“Sorry @derrenversoza looks like @justinbieber is the photographer on today’s shoot with @chanteljeffries,” they wrote.
For their part, neither Chantel nor Justin referred to their run-in on their own social media pages. But, Beliebers made up for that radio silence by sending “Chantel” to the second highest trending topic on Twitter in the U.S. and worldwide shortly after visuals surfaced.
Despite no sign of anything other than an accidental meet between the pair, many Justin Bieber fans tweeted criticism about Jeffries and the singer’s hangout.
One Belieber lamented, “The only reason I don’t like Justin hanging out with people like Chantel is bc it reminds me of the state he was in this time last year. Justin knows exactly what he did wrong last year by hanging out with people like Chantel so he’s obvious not going to do the same, it’s 2015.”
Another fan clarified, “I never said it was Chantel’s fault that Justin got arrested. Idk what went on. I’m just saying it reminds me of Justin getting arrested. damn.”
One user wrote, “It’s justin’s life. if he is happy hanging with chantel, leave him be. gosh, i love u beliebers but u gotta let justin have his own life.”
Yet another fan tried reason, writing, “Ok… literally none of us will ever date him so why do people get upset whether he’s seen with chantel or hailey or a random no name?”
Another fan tweeted, “Why u always overreact. Lmao they prob ran into each other. She’s doing a photo shoot and he was there yesterday too…lol.”
