‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Chelsea Houska Talks Custody Battle: Adam Lind ‘Isn’t Afraid To Lie Under Oath’
Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska discussed her ongoing custody battle with Adam Lind during last night’s MTV After Show. While chatting with her Teen Mom 2 co-star Kailyn Lowry, Houska explained why going through a court battle with someone unpredictable can be scary at times.
“I feel like custody situations are the worst thing you can go through,” the Teen Mom 2 star tells Kailyn in a clip shared by MTV News on August 6.
“The thought that something could change with how much you have your child is scary.”
Throughout Season 6 of Teen Mom 2, Houska and Lind have been involved in a custody battle. As Lind continues to fight back against claims of domestic assault, which have since been dropped, he attempted to get more rights and visitation with Aubree, as well as his younger daughter, Paislee. However, at the same time, Houska and Taylor Halbur, Paislee’s mother, considered restricting Lind’s visits with their children to a supervised visitation center, which he wasn’t in agreement with.
“There was just a huge weight on my shoulders because I don’t know what he’s going to say. He could pull anything out of his a**. He isn’t afraid to lie under oath. And I was like worried because I don’t feel like Aubree would have been in the best hands if she would have been with him more, or unsupervised.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Teen Mom 2 star was heard explaining her daughter often struggles when it comes time to return to her home after spending time with her father. During a YouTube clip, Houska went into detail about her daughter’s hardships, claiming that while Lind doesn’t necessarily impact her with his behavior, Aubree’s change in setting can be a challenge.
“I feel like Adam doesn’t really influence Aubree’s behavior a lot because she doesn’t spend that much time with him. It’s more, like, her being away from her routine that we have. That influences her behavior.”
During the episode in which Aubree was seen coming home from her visit with Lind, she returned to school, where she got physical with a cast mate and refused to apologize — even after the Teen Mom 2 star arrived to pick her up.
