‘The Bachelorette’ Star Nick Viall Claims That The Show ‘Changed’ Kaitlyn Bristowe

Following his rejection during the Season 11 finale of The Bachelorette, Nick Viall is once again speaking out against Kaitlyn Bristowe and her new fiancé, Shawn Booth. In fact, Viall is certain that Booth is having a negative impact on Bristowe, who he thinks has changed since being on the show.

“It’s disappointing. You would hope that Kaitlyn would rub off on Shawn more than Shawn would rub off on Kaitlyn,” he told Life & Style in a recent interview. “But it seems like it might be more the latter.”

His rejection in Season 11 marks the second time that Viall has been the runner-up on the reality dating series. In discussing how Bristowe handled the rejection, Viall stated that he expected an apology for how everything went down.

“My hope was that she would say, ‘I wish I hadn’t handled it the way I did… And for that I am sorry,'” Viall explained.

Viall’s expectations were probably warranted, given the fact that he picked out an engagement ring for Bristowe and even proposed to her during the season finale of The Bachelorette. In fact, Viall was fairly confident that Bristowe would pick him. Instead, she delivered a cold-hearted rejection.

“I think it showed a lack of sincerity on her part,” he continued. “I don’t anticipate us being in each others lives.”

At the same time, Viall isn’t the only one speaking out. During a recent press interview, Bristowe and Booth managed to make fun of Viall for tossing his ring out of his car window shortly after Bristowe rejected him.

While many have expressed their disapproval with how Viall has handled his second rejection, Booth isn’t exactly the nicest guy in the world. The contestant was seen on the show as someone who was controlling and jealous with Bristowe, especially when she interacted with other men on the show.

“I felt he was accurately portrayed, how he handles difficult situations and not getting his way,” Viall revealed about Booth. “I really don’t know anything about their relationship or how healthy it is… I’m focused on moving on with my own life.”

Although things look a little rough for Viall, who had an understandably difficult time dealing with yet another rejection, it seems as though he may have dodged a bullet on this one. As Viall continues to move on with his own life, Bristowe and Booth are making plans for their upcoming wedding.
