Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell are fueling their feud even as a new feud developed after Trump slammed Megyn Kelly, the Republican debate moderator. And although Donald may have more cameras turned on him as he tries to trump his opponents for the highest office in the nation, Rosie and Megyn are determined to be heard.
O’Donnell responded quickly when she learned that Donald had admitted calling her fat, reported Entertainment Tonight .
Trump’s initial slam occurred when Megyn Kelly in her role as Republican debate moderator started to ask Donald about being misogynistic, based on his previous descriptions of women as slobs and fat pigs. Trump didn’t even let Kelly complete her query before he slammed back.
“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” said Donald.
Trump listened to the laughter from the audience. However, Kelly then responded.
“For the record, it was well beyond Rosie O’Donnell,” said Megyn.
“Yes, I’m sure it was,” said Trump.
Kelly then pressed Donald about his misogynistic social media comments regarding how women look, as well as some sexist remarks about women on Celebrity Apprentice . But Trump slammed Megyn for trying to discuss what he termed as time-wasting politically correct behavior.
“I’ve been challenged by so many people and I don’t frankly have time for total political correctness, and to be honest with you, this country doesn’t have time either,” said Trump.

Megyn wanted Donald to respond specifically to the issue of whether someone who is the President of the United States should and could be seen as the leader of the nation while making such derogatory comments about women.
However, Trump did not respond to her questions during the Republican debate. Rosie, however, did fire back.
“Try explaining that 2 ur kids,” tweeted O’Donnell.
Kelly was specific in quoting Trump’s comments about women, reported CBS Local .
“[You call] women you don’t like ‘fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals,’” quoted Megyn.
Kelly then found herself the subject of the presidential candidate’s wrath on social media, with battle shots fired from Trump at the woman he termed a “bimbo” in his tweets.
“Wow, @megynkelly really bombed tonight. People are going wild on twitter! Funny to watch…I really enjoyed the debate tonight even though the @FoxNews trio, especially @megynkelly, was not very good or professional!” he tweeted, adding, “@timjcam: @megynkelly @FrankLuntz @realDonaldTrump Fox viewers give low marks to bimbo @MegynKelly will consider other programs!”
As for Rosie, the feud isn’t new. O’Donnell was a co-host on The View in 2006 when she discussed the issue of a Miss America winner who confessed to using drugs, reported the Boston Globe .
The two then engaged in name-calling, which included the term “fat” used by Trump for Rosie.
O’Donnell has been candid about her weight loss struggles, as the Inquisitr reported.
After having a heart attack, Rosie was forced to recognize that she had to make lifestyle changes to save her life, including conquering her life-long battle of the bulge.
And although many areas of her life are in turmoil, Rosie admitted that her weight particularly perturbs her. That’s true even after losing 50 pounds following a difficult decision to have weight-loss surgery.
“I had thought about gastric bypass before, but I was always concerned about some of the side effects,” Rosie revealed.
