Rosie O’Donnell Slammed By Donald Trump During Republican Debate
Rosie O’Donnell was slammed by Donald Trump during the Republican debate Thursday night on Fox News.
Minutes into the debate, moderator Megyn Kelly asked Trump about his frequent, inappropriate comments about women.
“You’ve called women fat pigs, dogs, slobs, disgusting animals. Your Twitter account has several — ” she said, before being cut off by Trump, who then held up his finger and said, “Only Rosie O’Donnell.”
“For the record, it was well beyond Rosie O’Donnell,” Kelly exclaimed before finishing her original question.
“Does that sound like the temperament of a man we should elect for president?” she asked.

According to USA Today, Trump went on to explain that he, and the United States, does not have time for “total political correctness,” and that many of the comments he posts online are meant to be “fun” and “a good time.” Rosie O’Donnell didn’t waste any time responding to Trumps insult on live national television.
“Try explaining that 2 ur kids,” she tweeted minutes after his comment.

Apparently, O’Donnell and Trump have a long history of feuding. Rosie called Donald a “snake-oil salesman” in 2006 for failing to fire Miss USA Tara Conner, who had a history with drug use, underage drinking, and sexual indiscretions, Fox News reports.
“She’s an extremely unattractive person who doesn’t understand the truth…. I think she’s a terrible person… She has failed at everything she has done… She’s a bully and she sucker punches people,” Trump later said on Larry King Live.

In 2014, Rosie O’Donnell spoke to People Magazine and admitted that the bullying she endured from Donald Trump was the worst she had ever experienced.
“Probably the Trump stuff was the most bullying I ever experienced in my life, including as a child,” she said at the time. “It was national, and it was sanctioned societally. Whether I deserved it is up to your own interpretation.”
