The relationship between Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer is quickly becoming strained as the two recently exchanged verbal blows. The feud between the Real Housewives of New York stars began during a recent episode of the show, when Singer made a remark to Heather Thomson that Frankel was unfaithful in her first marriage with Peter Sussman.
Frankel has since shot back, addressing the bad blood between her and Singer in a recent Bravo blog post.
“Well, evidently I do my best work at fashion shows. Years ago I called Luann a snake, and this time I called Ramona out for calling me a cheater during a relationship 20 years ago,” Frankel wrote.
The fight began during the latest episode of the Real Housewives of New York , which featured Sonja Morgan unveiling her new clothing line during a highly anticipated fashion show. However, fashion was not the focus of the episode as things between Frankel and Singer took center stage.
In fact, Frankel took an opportunity during the show to confront her friend about the comments she had made about Frankel’s infidelity. “If you’re just going to run off to other people and say nasty things about me – things that aren’t true and that I’ll now have to do damage control of, maybe all the girls will talk about it – it’s desperate, it’s nasty, it’s entitled and it’s selfish,” she told Singer.
After some back and forth, Singer then attempted to apologize to Frankel. “I”m not perfect, slit my wrists,” she stated. “I’m going through a bad time in my life – fine, crucify me Bethenny. I’m sorry, OK? I’m sorry.”
Singer’s apology failed to appease Frankel, who told her “No, you doing things and then the next day saying you’re sorry isn’t going to work any more.”
Meanwhile, Frankel continued to released her frustrations in her blog post, revealing that their fight was anything but over.
“It’s kind of ironic when a dress thief tells you you’re a cheater,” Frankel explained, believing Singer failed to return a set of dresses she had loaned her. “So that was fun. There will be more on this.”
While her last comments allude to more drama erupting between the two in future episodes, Frankel joked when she wrote: “I keep telling Ramona that we’re gonna do a spinoff in which I have the unenviable choice and decision of whether to kill her or commit her.”
