Tiger Woods’ Restaurant In Jupiter Opens Monday

Tiger Woods’ new restaurant, The Woods Jupiter is now going to open this Monday, August 10, as announced by a Twitter post by the golf great himself which reads, “Almost here. The Woods Jupiter opens Aug. 10. Can’t wait!”

As previously reported in the Inquisitr, Tiger Woods’ new restaurant will open in his home town of Jupiter, Florida at Harbourside Place, and will serve upscale American cuisine. Woods said he wanted a place in town where he could hang out.

“I envision a place where people can meet friends, watch sports on TV and enjoy a great meal,” Woods said in a statement. “I wanted to build it locally where I live and where it could help support the community.”

CBS Sports is reporting that the new restaurant is an $8million project for Woods, and will open at the start of PGA Championship week. The Palm Beach Post reported that Woods’ 5,900-square-foot restaurant will open in a new $150 million entertainment center in South Florida. The Woods Jupiter is also hiring for all positions in the front and back of the house.

Developer Nick Mastroianni II told the Palm Beach Post that the restaurant will have outdoor dining and a valet roundabout.

“I couldn’t be more excited to have Tiger’s new establishment operating within Harbourside Place,” said Mastroianni, president and CEO of Allied Capital & Development of South Florida. “It’s gratifying to see the final stages met with support from local, national and international organizations such as Mr. Woods.”

Last week, a temporary liquor license was issued pending the final inspection. There were two violations found on the first inspection, and reports say both have been fixed. The restaurant was originally slated to open in January, then April, and now mid-August seems firm. The restaurant will serve high-end American fare, but for now, the menu is under wraps.

Tiger Woods is also planning to move his international headquarters in the same downtown Jupiter location. Tiger Woods Design designs golf courses and sells merchandise with the Tiger Woods brand.

If the photos of food that accompanied Tiger’s posts on Twitter are any indication, the food at The Woods Jupiter should be delicious, but fans should wait for the first reviews and publication of the menu to be sure.
