The answers that everyone has been waiting for for years are coming in the next Pretty Little Liars . It only took until the summer finale in the middle of season 6 for that to happen. But how much will be revealed in the episode?
[Spoilers Ahead]
The latest Pretty Little Liars episode saw the girls disinvited from prom by the school as the Inquisitr had previously reported would happen, but their attempt to hold their own event did not last very long once they realized, thanks to photos posted from the dance, that Alison had gone there to meet Charles. (Fortunately for them, no real attempt to make them leave was made once they were there.) Throughout the night, they learned that Aria’s friend, Clark, is really an undercover cop, and Alison followed a series of texts right to where Charles wanted her to go. Charles kidnapped her, but before the episode ended, he showed her his face – and her reaction suggested that he could be someone viewers have seen before on the show.
Meanwhile, the PLL mothers gathered to drink and worry about their daughters (but not actually check on them) and ended up going over to the DiLaurentis house and experiencing a bit of what the girls have gone through because of A. They ran into Reese at the house, supposedly there to talk to Mr. DiLaurentis about something, and Aria’s mother reached the same conclusion the girls had; that he could very well be Charles. Was Reese the one who locked them in the basement?
The next episode is the summer finale, and according to the official synopsis posted by TVLine , quite a few answers will be revealed.
“Who killed Toby’s mother? Who hit Alison in the head with the rock the night she went missing? Who is Red Coat? Who killed Bethany? Who is the Black Widow? Why has ‘A’ been targeting the PLLs all this time? After years of torture, Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer finally come face-to-face with their tormentor and learn the story of how and why Charles became ‘A.’”
ABC Family has released the official preview of the summer finale, and it is all about A telling all. You also get a look at where Charles puts Alison, what seems to be Emily’s reaction to A and more.
ABC Family has also posted the first two minutes of the Pretty Little Liars summer finale, “Game Over, Charles,” on its summer finale party website. As it begins, the girls are running up to a roof where A is standing on the ledge. As the police arrive on the scene down below, Alison promises to do whatever it takes to help the person. Spencer says just because they know the identity of A, they should not assume the game is over.
“Don’t do this to your sister,” Emily says, with Aria adding, “You’ve spent your whole life trying to get back to your family. It’s not too late.”
Hanna says they understand after hearing the story. Will A jump?
