Amanda Bynes Involved In Hit And Run

Amanda Bynes was involved in another hit and run last night. This time, however, she didn’t hit a cop car.

Bynes was arrested last month for a DUI after she clipped a cop car. Last night, according to TMZ, the former Nickelodeon star hit a car while driving in Hollywood. The man in the car claims that he was sideswiped by Bynes Range Rover while he was trying to pass.

TMZ reports that the man called the cops to report the accident. The man also followed Bynes since both cars were driving in heavy traffic.

Cops cars (and a helicopter) were dispatched to track down the SUV.

Bynes told police that she did not know that she hit the car. Sources who witnessed the accident said that the damage to Bynes’ SUV was minimal so it is possible that she never felt the bump.

Bynes was not arrested for the incident and was reportedly very cooperative with the officers. Bynes and the other drive did exchange insurance information with one another.

The Nickelodeon star doesn’t have the best driving record. She is currently facing DUI charges after hitting a cop car after a long night of drinking.

Rick Bynes said that Amanda was not drunk at the time of the accident. Bynes said:

“She [Amanda Bynes] was not drunk. I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn’t have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn’t drink.”
