Jenner has been busy with her modeling career, which is skyrocketing as she takes on the role as spokeswoman for Estée Lauder. But when Nick called, she listened, and Jonas started dating the 19-year-old big sister of Kylie Jenner.

So precisely what roles did Gigi and Joe play in Kendall’s romantic life? Jenner and Nick benefited when Hadid decided she wanted her pal and Jonas to join her in group dating.

“Gigi wants Kendall around all the time,” explained a Jenner insider. “She thinks it would be fun for all of them to hang out.”

Nick seems to be invited based on his Jonas brothers qualifications. But dating together seemed like the perfect solution, noted the source.

“They are all going to end up hanging out regardless, so it seems like a simple situation, which could be a lot of fun.”

Now that Kendall is texting her new boyfriend, it’s clear that the magic is there.

“[Jenner and Nick] had a flirty chemistry from the start,” said a Jonas insider.

And the 22-year-old singer is open to dating someone new, since he just broke up with Olivia Culpo.

“Nick was single and looking to date and there was an obvious attraction. He absolutely thinks she’s hot,” added the source.

What can you look for in terms of PDA? Don’t hold your breath.

“When they’re ready and it turns official, we’ll start seeing photos,” predicted an insider.

As the Inquisitr reported, Kendall and Gigi have become best friends. Gigi and her sister, Bella Hadid, even teamed up with Kendall and Kylie for a Balmain campaign.

Jonas might get a hint of what to expect if he chats with Kendall’s ex-boyfriends, who range widely in age and background.

At one point, Jenner was rumored to be dating Justin Bieber. The supermodel and the wildly popular pop singer got up close and cozy at Coachella, reported People.

And when Bieber got handsy with Kendall’s bikini bottom, many speculated that they would be the perfect couple.

Then there’s British Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton, also reported to be Jenner’s boyfriend at one point, reported Entertainment Tonight.

When Kendall went to the Monaco Grand Prix with Gigi, she even wore Hamilton’s gold chain, complete with diamonds.

But TMZ started the buzz that Jenner was dating Michael B. Jordan.

Kendall and Michael appeared to be intimately close at the Met Gala, leading to the rumors.

However, now that Jenner has been set up to date Nick by the world’s new Cupid, Gigi, it looks as if Jonas is the number one man on Kendall’s boyfriend list.

As to how Nick feels about his own ex, Olivia, he has no animosity, reported E! News.

When Jonas finally spoke about Culpo, he kept it simple.

“I wish the best for her in the future and we had a great two years.”

And as an indication of why Nick and Kendall are taking it slow when it comes to dating, Jonas shared that he’s busy with work.

“I’m focused on my work and that, to me, is the priority right now,” stressed the singer and actor.
