Earlier, the Inquisitr reported about a segment that happened during The View that left everyone uncomfortable. Co-host guest Kelly Osbourne was trying to express her disdain for Donald Trump’s derogatory remarks, instead Osbourne wound up offending the Latino community.
During the Hot Topics segment, an audio clip of Donald Trump was played, in which he claimed that he has the Latino vote. After Rosie Perez led the commentary by reading the poll statistics, Osbourne put her two cents in.
At the time, she said, “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?” Her comments were about Trump’s points on the immigration policy, but instead of condemning she managed to make a sweeping generalization of the Latino community.
After she was dragged on Twitter, Osbourne released a statement via her Facebook .
“I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted f*cked up today. I don’t want to bullsh*t anyone with lame excuses.”
Osbourne continued, “Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn’t finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words. I should have known better as I was on The View and it was live. I’ve learned a very valuable lesson. It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole. By the way I clean my own f*cking toilets.”
After Osbourne made her initial comment during the segment, Raven-Symone, who was visibly taken aback for a few seconds, came to defend Kelly moments later, saying that no one should come for Kelly on Instagram. Unfortunately, no one bothered to listen to Raven-Symone or Rosie Perez, who apologized to Kelly at the end of the show.
Instead, Osbourne was crucified on Twitter and became a trending topic minutes after her comments hit the web.
@ENews An unfortunate comment by KO and an even more unfortunate apology by Rosie Perez. Kelly Obsbourne…get a clue, no excuses please.

Kelly Osbourne threw Giuliana under the bus when she made a super inappropriate comment about Zendaya, but her comment isn’t racist? Ok

Do you think Kelly Osbourne’s apology is enough?
